"I do feel this matter could have been handled better. The base board [member name removed] is talking about is missing a major step in this matter. During the leak repair that has been repaired 100%, [member name removed] had a flooring company installing her new hardwood flooring on the inside of the exterior wall. The base was removed by myself and set in her garage to be salvaged and reinstalled. After the flooring company finished, [member name removed] call and scheduled to have the base installed. When arriving to the scheduled appointment we found the base and other trim components were damaged and cut. The base was cut and now to short to use. This style of base was not a off the shelf piece. Going to a local mill shop I have them custom make the base costing $125 that wasn't added to the original job cost. With this mill it was a 5 week lead time. During this time I did lack communication to [member name removed]. Once the base came in [member name removed] was becoming negative. I move to speak with her husband who I agreed with paying for someone else to install the base. A day or so goes by and now both the [member name removed]'s call stating I have stole there property (baseboard), and would be calling the local sheriff. We stand behind our work and character. No communication nor a bill I agreed to pay has been sent to me since the threats. The baseboard was out of my control by others causing damage. I tried to help the [member name removed]'s with this matter and feel I am receiving a bad review on something my company had no control of."
