$800
They did an excellent job. I spent $800 for their service. They were very honest and they had the best price compared to the others I had contacted. They were on time. They were very mindful of the house in getting everything cleaned. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very easy to work with.

My experience with Tony was a little strange and somewhat disappointing. First of all, when I called the phone number given here on Angie's List, after several rings it went to a computer-voiced recording that did not even state the name of the business that I was calling, it only read back the number that I had dialed and then said to leave a message. I declined to do so, as I did not feel comfortable with what did not seem like a very well established business. Nevertheless,  I got a call on my phone a few minutes later from Tony, saying "you called?". He must have just got the number off his caller ID and called be back because I had not left a message. I felt that it was a little bit unwelcome for him to call me back without me having left a message. He sounded nice enough, and offered to provide a system check and system cleaning (but not the ducts and not the 'coil'; those would be extra if found that they needed to be cleaned,  His price of $85 seemed fair; other companies have been advertising prices of $59, but did not appear to include any cleanings. I had called two other companies that day (Saturday) and Tony was the only one that could set me up with an appointment right away (for the next day). All the other companies had just answering services operating on Saturdays and said that the companies would call me back on Monday. Tony ended up canceling the Sunday appointment because it was raining, but was able to reschedule right away for Monday morning. Tony was only about 20 minutes late for the designated time on Monday. His check of the system seemed cursory and he and his assistant did not seem to exude a lot of knowledge or experience in the HVAC world. At the end of it the only thing he had to say was that the inductor motor was slowing down and would need to be replaced someday. His estimate for my ductwork was for $550 to retape some areas and fill in some gaps in the insulation on the basement ducting, and $1100 to re-insulate all of the basement ductwork. I really did not sense that he had cleaned anything at all with the system, and that I would have been better off paying $59 to a company that did not put up a facade about how they were going to do any cleaning of the system. Having not been too satisfied with this contractor, I called another (more established company) to come out and provide the same service. They came that afternoon. I did not tell them that the system had just been serviced. The second contractor remarked that the system needed cleaning. He also pointed out that my air filters needed to be replaced. That prompted me to look at them and sure enough, they were quite dirty. I was disappointed that Tony did not point this out to me. The second contractor told me that the ductwork issues were really just cosmetic, and any work that I had done on it would have an unnoticeable effect on my energy bills.

They were awesome. I don?t want to say how good he is. He comes out immediately unless he is doing something else. He will explain what he is doing and his price is very reasonable. He has got a nice personality and is very patient. I spent $80 on that work. He is prompt and is willing to explain whatever he is doing.
