The Home Depot - Virginia Beach

We chose the product ourselves. They delivered the day they said they would and took less time than they said to do it.

We were very disappointed with door installers from Home Depot on Elson Green Ave in Virginia Beach!  We ordered the door in Aug, 2015. The first attempt to install our door took place in October 2015 and was a comedy of errors!  The installers, Quality Home Improvements of Virginia, Inc., dropped our $4000.00 door, breaking it in several areas. A new door had to be ordered, which took several months longer.  
The new door arrived in November 2015 and provided 2 bright spots in this experience:
1. The paint department in Home Depot did a nice job matching the color of the door with the transom!
2.  A Home Depot associate, Dylan, was very helpful and understanding in our plight to get this door and worked very hard to be sure we received the door we wanted!
The installers arrived at the end of January 2016 to install the replacement door.  This time the installers did not break the door, but left many nail holes in the frame and trim and also pieces of trim that did not match the door.  They left some touchup paint, a crayon, and some stain for the homeowner to finish the install themselves!!  ("here, homeowner.....we'll stick the door in the hole, nail it in, and YOU can finish it up!")
So.....today I spent several hours finishing the job of Home Depot's installers.  I filled holes, painted and stained to complete the job that should have been completed by the installers Home Depot chose for us!
In my view, this is a lack of professionalism.
Home Depot, YOU NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB OF SCREENING YOUR INSTALLERS!
