The hardwood install went well except for a couple scratches that were sort of covered up with markers. The downstairs tile went well.
The master bath plank tile is uneven in spots, but apparently that is more expected with the rectangular planks. If he had told me beforehand, I probably would have installed the same tile anyway.
The final bill was much higher than expected, but unbeknownst to me I had selected the most expensive tile he had installed in 2 years. Being a single woman, a little more guidance in making sure that's how much I wanted to spend on tile would have been appreciated.
That being said, Mitchell was very responsive when I voiced my concerns after the job had been completed. Very professional and I do not want to malign his reputation by my mistakes.
