T&M worked as a sub for Whitney Construction who was building a 14X25 ft room addition on the house. The new room required an increase in heating and AC for the house. The existing system was almost 15 years old, low efficiency rated, and left much to be desired in comfort, especially the second floor. T&M made the recommendation to dual zone the house and new addition with newer systems and separate controls for each floor. The price was extremely good for the amount of work. The vast majority of all the work was done in four days, with very little inconvenience. T&M was efficient, clean and punctual. I couldn't ask for a better job and I would not hesitate using this company again. It was a great experience.

This is the second time I'v used them. Both times Tommy came out to help us. On both occaisions they responded to my initial call in minutes. On both occasions they came to the house in and lt;24 hours. On both occasions they arrived slightly before the scheduled time. The second time I used them it was pretty straight forward. The first time was about 2 years ago. A contractor doing work at my house at the time told me the whole A/C unit needed to be replaced after it went out. I was skeptical and called T and M and they topped off the freon and patched a minimal leak for and lt;$150. Two years later and the A/C is working fine. Plus I didn't spend the money on the new unit the contractor told me I needed.

Here is the story... I am coming close to retirement and wanted to get some things done around the house while we had the pay check still being dropped off every two weeks.

We have been using T&M Mechanical since 1997... Tommy Thompson runs an exceptional company and does excellent work at a fair price.

Our upstairs Heat Pump was still functioning properly but was installed in 1980 when the house was built... Tommy advised me to keep the old unit until it quit functioning then replace it...  Well, I didn't take his advice.. I asked him to replace that unit along with all the old duct work in the attic.

The team arrived promptly at 7:30 this morning and completed the big job by early afternoon... In addition, he relocated the air handler in the attic and routed the new duct work to open up the attic for additional storage space... it really made a huge difference.

T&M is a factory representative for Goodman... This product line comes with a 10 year parts warranty and a 1 year labor

I had 2 other companies come out and check my system for leaks. or what ever they thought was wrong. The 2 other companies both spent maybe 15-20 minutes checking the system and was told I needed a new unit or expensive repairs to include Freon Flush which was over $500.00(less then 8 years old) . A friend gave me the Number to T and M MECHANICAL, They came out the same day. The Tech checked the outside unit and I told him what the others said, he got out some soap water and ran it over the line on the unit and found a small leak, he repaired it , flushed and filled the Freon at 1/2 the cost of the other 2 companies. Cost me under $400.00 and all has been great. I have recommended them to other friends and they have been happy with their service too.

I got the referral from my mother who used Tand M Mechanical two times to fix her air conditioning. They performed the same type of service for her both times. Called T and M Mechanical the afternoon of February 3 because my gas furnace was blowing cold air. The technician, Dave, came and diagnosed the problem as a bad ignition control module. He said the rest of the furnace looked fine. The blower and thermostat were working but the control module that lights the pilot light to heat the air needed replacing. He said He would return first thing the next morning with the part. He returned promptly the next morning, installed the part and the furnace was working. He charged me $ 350 for a $89 part, 2 trips to the house and 1 hour each day for labor. It was expensive but I needed the heat and appreciated his promptness and quickness responding to my call. Little did I know that I would be appreciating his quick response to my call again one week later, when I called because my furnace was again blowing cold air. Dave came out again spent an hour, adjusting (his technical term) and checking that everything was fine. He assured me that although my furnace was an older model it was in great shape. He told me he had taken care of everything. Well, his everything lasted 2 and a half weeks. My furnace is again blowing cold air. The temperature outside is 20 degrees and inside 45 degrees. My poor daughters spent another cold night in the house. I was so proud of how brave they are getting up in the cold house, showering and going to school. Beware of this company! Dave, the technician, is very reassuring, each time he comes out for the same problem. You will want to believe his calm reassuring voice "that this time it is ALL taken care of." Unless you like having your heating company on speed dial, and sleeping in the cold ( I am sure there are some people that like to camp out in the winter, who can appreciate sleeping in the cold night air), stay away for T and M Mechanical.
