Hired RWA for a kitchen remodel. Everything went well at first. Toward the end, I received a call in the morning stating their worker had a medical emergency and would not be able to come. I offered to delay the work another day, but was assured Jason would try to get to me. Received another call with the same assurance in the afternoon. Jason called around 5:00 to say he couldn't come. I sat at home all day waiting. The next day everything was rushed. They had several workers this time where previously there were only one or two. They dropped grout on the floor and did not do a thorough clean up, The cabinet doors were never adjusted. The tile back splash isn't up to standards with chipped uneven tiles. Called to have the pot rack installed and Jason was not happy with the rating on Home Advisor and claimed he didn't know about the worker's medical issue. Had told Andrea and called several times about the trash left outside (including a pail of hard grout) and some also left in the garage. Jason also claimed he didn't know about that. All the above problems were in the same review. There have been numerous other small problems that I discovered since the review.
"We have cut and pasted the original review from this customer on Home Advisor, which includes our response: Comments: The only thing I did not like was the huge crown molding. The cabinets and countertops are fantastic. Especially love the pull-outs. The crew could have been more meticulous on the clean up. Trash was left in the garage and outside, there were spots of grout on the floor, tile and window ledge. The actual work days totaled six, but was spread out over a three week period. On one occasion was expecting a worker to show up. He had a medical issue and I was told someone would "try to get" to me. Finally got a call at almost 4:00 informing me that no one would come until the next day. Your Comments: This kitchen remodel is considered one of the most time efficient jobs we have ever done. The original start date was September 17. We moved the start date forward to September 11. Demolition and base cabinets were set by Thursday September 12, the same day granite was measured. Installation continued through the following week, granite got installed on Thursday, September 19, and the job was complete on Monday, September 23. The trash was neatly in a trash bin and picked up immediately. We even went the extra mile to satisfy the customer's request to donate the old cabinets to Habitat for Humanity. We are so proud of this job! Pics posted!"
"This job was originally on the schedule to be completed in a one week timeframe. Multiple declined credit card transactions and a hostile environment provoked by the tenants (daughter and "class A contractor" son in law), forced us to terminate the contract with this Angie's List member."
"Thank you for the great review Member! We truly appreciate you taking the time and effort to let other Angie's List members know how happy you are with your new kitchen."
"Thank you for leaving a great review! We will always be as loyal to you as you are to us."
