Description of Work: This guy took $4300 from us to order and install new windows throughout our house and install a new front door. We had no problem giving him the deposit as he previously performed excellent work for us. We paid the deposit in July 2013 and in October, we still had no windows and could not reach him. I consulted a lawyer to recover our money but RHR had too many outstanding civil judgments and 1 federal tax lien filed against him so no hope of recovery.

+ -1 moreI would not recommend using RHR. My entire experience with Mr. Dettloff was a nightmare and I wouldn't even recommend him to my enemy. Mr. Dettloff took 6 months to complete a one bedroom addition on my house. He kept running out of money (even though he was receiving draws from my bank) and continuously asked me for money. He said that he would pay me back the money owed when he received the last draw, but I never saw it. He cleaned my savings account out of several thousand dollars. I'm not happy with the quality of work he did either. The outside siding is falling off and it's only been a month. The inside of the addition also has a number of defects. I am still waiting for Mr. Dettloff to come back to fix issues but he will no longer answer my calls. Additionally, all of the checks to his sub contractors bounced. I'm not one to write reviews but I want to save other homeowners from the h*** I experienced.
