I have worked with other realtors through my employer and know that having an agent that understands your needs and cares that those needs are met is crucial to a successful real estate transaction. Marchell went above and beyond for us. She was extremely patient with our search, which took several months, to find a home that fit our (long) checklist. She was great at handling everything from making the offer to the negotiation process to the actual closing. Marchell is very knowledgeable in the market, repairs, construction of the home and also shared things that she has found through her experiences in order to help us make informed decisions.
I would absolutely use Marchell again for any real estate needs and highly recommend her to anyone in need of an honest, reputable agent.

Marchell was so professional, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our home buying/selling experience was great. She helped us to price our prior home, and sold it in 10 days, as well as negotiated with the seller of the new house for all of the repairs and issues. We could not have asked for a better experience, and I would refer her to anyone at anytime. With her help we only had 4 days of mortgage overlap in this process.

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Marchell several times over the past 20+ years in buying and selling my homes. I first met Marchell when she was showing property I was selling with another agent as my selling agent. I briefly met her before excusing myself so she could show my property, but I was so impressed by her personality and enthusiasm that I knew I would select her as an agent in the future. When my listing expired and the house was unsold, I immediately contacted Marchell, and she has been my top-notch personal real estate agent ever since. Over the years I have bought and sold several homes with Marchell as my real estate agent, and she has always done an excellent job on my behalf. Not only does she have such a wonderful personality and great enthusiasm in her role as an agent, but she is also very hard working, knowledgeable, dependable, honest and trustworthy. She goes over and above in her duties as a real estate agent, and there is no one I would recommend more than Marchell in assisting others with their real estate needs. I have recommended her to family and friends, and they too have been extremely satisfied with her services. In today's world, we all must be careful who we do business with, but with Marchell, there are no worries. Marchell was recommended to us through several close friends. After meeting her we knew she was the person to help us find the perfect home. Throughout the home buying process she was super helpful and always there to answer and help with any questions and/or concerns that we had. In addition to her professionalism she was an absolute sweetheart to work with. We signed a contract for Marchell to list my house for rent. She was friendly on the phone and came out to the house to meet me and take pictures. A few days later I received the contract. I should have known that this wouldn't work out, as there were several mispellings, including my home's address. She listed it on MLS and then we waited. I didn't get too many hits, but several people called to inquire about the house. She never ended up showing the house to anyone.
Approximately 3 weeks into our 2 month contract I asked her for some data on rents that other houses were charging in the area to make sure we were priced right. She had mentioned that my rent was a bit high, but didn't really give me any insights. The next day after I asked for the data she sent me an email (not a phone call or anything else) and basically told me that my listing was too much work and she was dropping me. I would think that simply answering phone calls, answering a client's questions and showing a house would be well within the scope of what I could expect from my realtor. She should have thought about that before she took on the job.
Marchell gave me through the weekend to find someone else and broke our contract. If I had done the same I would have owed her $100, as per our signed contract. I thought she was incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful. I called her boss at ReMax and he did not apologize, but simply said "thats not how I would have handled it." I will never use Marchell nor anyone at the Columbus Street ReMax office again. Too bad because I ended up listing my house for sale.

She knew my boyfriend before and sold him a townhouse that we moved out and into this home. Since then she sold that townhouse for him, and we introduced her to a family member who even purchased their home from her. She is so much fun, and makes the process fun as well.

She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and is always good at interpreting and understanding my needs in looking for the perfect home. She is very good at answering any questions I may have and in helping me to understand the process for different home buying situations. She also provides bank loan contacts that are equally knowledgeable and they work extremely well together and with me as a team to make the home buying experience a pleasant one. It is clear, Marchell has a lot of experience in buying and selling property. For most of us buying or selling a home is a confusing, complicated and frustrating ordeal.
