RC Duct Masters

Ryan was extremely helpful in squeezing us in when he heard our concerns about even attempting to run the dryer. He arrived in time and was quick to get to work. He found some things our home inspector did not. He was informative and provided us with both a short term and long term solution. Would highly recommend!

Ryan and team did a great job. They explained the duct cleaning process in-depth and were meticulous in cleaning out each individual register in addition to the trunks and returns. The ducts had never been cleaned before and you could literally hear the decades worth of dust and debris being dislodged and sucked into the high powered vacuum unit. Also, they were able to add the branch to the master closet during the cleaning.

Ryan Cubin arrived at the appointed time accompanied by another gentleman who was assisting with the work. Both men were professional, down to earth and very clear in explaining what they were going to do. They began by INSPECTING DUCTS AND VENTS IN ALL ROOMS.  They then connected their equipment (First the upstairs and then the first floor of the home...this also included the FROG (family room above the garage) as well as the dryer vent in the laundry room.) While the hose was pulling out all debris and dirt from the ducts, the individual vents were cleaned out and the vent covers were cleaned by hand to ensure that nothing remained on them. Since we have a separate heating and cooling system on each level I was delighted at the thoroughness of their work.
They also inspected the crawl space underneath the house since there are ducts underneath the home as well. However, they stated that they were only hired to do the house.  They inspected the crawl space because they suspected that, based on what they found on the two house levels, the ducts underneath the house were in all probability in very poor shape.  When I asked what they found they informed me that they were going to include that information in their report to the property manager.  This would include a description of broken ducts, uninsulated ducts, etc.
Almost three hours were spent working at this house.  All windows were re -locked and they had even vacumed up after themselves.
I have waited 4 days before writing this report because I wanted to see what effect this work has had on the air quality.  I am happy to report that only today I found a light bit of dust on table tops....amazing since before I would find dust several hours after dusting.  I also find that breathing does no longer seem stuffy in a closed room.
These were perhaps the VERY BEST AIR DUCT and VENTILATION SPECIALISTS IN THE VIRGINIA BEACH AREA and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! 

Ryan arrived on time and prepared. He and his team not only did a great job, but each day was able to restore the system to operation in the needed living spaces.

Very happy with the work! Work was completed on time and exceeded expectations. Ryan was patient and answered all of our questions and worked with us to design the project in a way that addressed all of our concerns. The finish product is exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend! We would definitely use RC Duct Masters again.

The dryer vent has a vertical exit to the roof, and at one point the vent dropped through the ceiling above the dryer.  They fixed this for me by fastening it in the attic so it wouldn't happen again.  Also, I have full-sized appliances in a laundry closet better suited for an apartment-sized washer & dryer, and they squeezed behind it to fix the vent attachment to the dryer...not an easy process.
Ryan and his team are responsive and efficient.  I have not needed a major service such as replacement of duct work, which they also do, but based on my experience would not hesitate to use them for other services they provide.
