Power Clean Pros is a family-owned business with over twenty-five years of pressure washing experience and has cleaned, sealed or stained over 3,000 decks and too many homes to count! Paul Carmody is an Air Force veteran who believes in a job done with excellence. He makes sure that every homeowner is completely satisfied before moving on to the next job. A high energy level, attention to detail and an efficient work system including professional grade equipment enable Paul to schedule and complete his jobs quickly and with excellence. A native of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, Paul enjoys working throughout the year, no matter what the temperature or weather conditions. He recently pressure washed an entire apartment complex during the month of February! His wife Lesley is the behind-the-scenes accountant, marketing/advertising specialist, scheduler and mother to their 7 year old daughter. When he is not pressure washing, Paul enjoys rollerblading on the boardwalk, flying kites at Mt. Trashmore, studying the nature and character of God, and creating videos on YouTube on that subject. He also appreciates astronomy and has a set of binoculars that can see into deep space. They were pretty good. I didn't get the color on my fence that I thought I was going to get. I was supposed to get clear and it's not really clear so that's the only thing I'm real pleased about. But, he did it quick.

Power Clean Pros provided an outstanding service when I needed my outdoor deck cleaned. After providing a simply photo of the deck, I promptly received a quote for the work service. Paul came over the same day I called. He gave me an estimate and scheduled the time to do the work. Weather prevented him from doing the work the day that we had scheduled. Paul was in constant contact with me and allowed me to pick the exact date I wanted the work done. He came the day I requested, on time, and got the work done in the two hours he scheduled me for. At first all I had scheduled was the upstairs deck. When he came over to do the work I asked about the downstairs deck. The price was great (an extra $65) so I included the downstairs deck also. He said no problem and got all the work done that day.

We were looking for a thorough power wash of our house before we put it up for sale. We had called many people from Angie's List on Saturday to come power wash before our sale date deadline of Wednesday. He was very prompt in getting back with us on the phone, and he said he would be here Monday at noon. He came to our house 15-minutes early, a promptness that we have rarely experienced in our interaction with other home maintenance companies.
Paul is extremely motivated and dedicated. He was very courteous. It was raining and chilly outside, and he did everything he said he would do with no excuses because of the weather. He was done by 1:30pm. He showed us all that he had done. He is one power washing machine! We can see our house is gray again (not green and ridden with dirt, grime, and cobwebs as it was before he power washed).
Being a consumer of his business, this was an outstanding experience. I wish all of my experiences with businesses were of this caliper.

Paul responded within 24 hours to my online request for an estimate. He was the most thorough in his job description and competitively priced. He was able to do the job the next day due to improved winter weather conditions. The finish was everything he said it would be and more! Highly recommended.

We just got our house on the market last minute and needed a good power cleaning for our vinyl siding. I purchased the Angie's List coupon for Power Clean Pros and sent them an email with prospective dates. They were extremely quick to respond, exceptionally polite and willing to work with our needs. For example, we had just replaced and painted the trim along the roof line and around the doors and Paul was able to ensure the work was not damaged. The house looks fantastic!

Contrary to initial plans as discussed with Power Clean Pros owner, Paul, he attempted to power wash the deck and apply the coating the same day, even though it was raining. The coating did not dry properly or adhere to the deck. Paul agreed to re-apply the coating at a later date, which he did.

"I informed [member name removed] that I could clean and stain the deck the same day because the product I use, Deckscapes, is designed to be used that way. He agreed with this procedure. I chose a day with a low percentage of rain and proceeded with the job. Once applied, the stain takes 2 hours to dry. Unfortunately, it did rain that afternoon about 3 hours after application, and some of the stain -- approximately 2% of the 600 s.f. -- came off the deck in 4 small areas. [member name removed] alerted me to this problem within a couple of days so I waited for the next sunny day and reapplied stain to the four areas that needed it. The homeowner was very satisfied."

Provider was prompt & professional. At first application, provider did not remove planters or torches leaving bare/untreated areas. When brought to his attention not only did the provider come back out & correct, he gave a second coat to the entire railing. I was very pleased with his work

"In response, I would like to point out several details that were omitted from the review. It took longer to repair the step because once we took it off, we found rotten wood that had to be replaced underneath it. We charged nothing more to accomplish this work, even though it took an extra hour and a half of labor. This particular house is brick, so it had a lot of green mildew on it. It was very difficult to get all blotches of the mildew off the brick because this house is close to 40 years old. The deck is over 20 years old and had been power washed several times before. When that happens, wood becomes very weathered and split and it is difficult for anyone to make it look new because the stain does not cover evenly. The client picked out the color of stain called "Deckscapes" from Sherwin Williams, which is not a paint. This product can be applied to damp decks, which is why I applied it after power washing the deck. As for the leaves on the deck, they fell after we completed the job. I have cleaned and stained over 3000 decks in the last 25 years and have had very few complaints. I always stand behind my work and take great pride in it. Also, this job was done almost 2 months ago and I am not sure why the client took so long to write a review. I believe this job was completed to the best of my abilities and when I left, the client told me she was satisfied."

The service went great. I was not there while they did the service. The staff were efficient and professional. I had called quite a few companies beforehand and they gave the best pricing and did the best job. They did exactly what I needed and scheduling was not an issue.

Paul did a great job. He called to confirm the appointment the night before and showed up on time. He completed the work quickly and made sure to protect my plants with tarps. He was very professional and pleasant. Will definitely be using him again.
