Poston Electrical will not work in my home again. First visit: they broke a water pipe for the bath vanity and flooded the room. They did not know where the water cut-off was and if someone had not been at home to react and cut the water off the results would have been even worst. One their second visit, 09/24/14, the two individuals who installed lights and fans were rude and arrogant. They had to cut holds in the drywall to install two lights, one in the ceiling and one over the vanity. Where the dust and debris fell is where it was left; on the sink, floor, toilet and walls. In the attic they had to move the insulation to cut a hole in the ceiling. The insulation was not put back in place and they left their trash, plastic bag, nuts, bolts (varying installation items) lying on the floor. They had no respect for my home or the resident.
Since they were not hired or scheduled directly by me I cannot comment on pricing.
"First of all I'm sorry you feel this way. The water pipe was a very brittle pipe and was struck by pure accident. After talking to my men it did not flood the room and justin had the knowledge to repair the pipe on the spot. As for my men being rude and not cleaning up you again are wrong. All of my employees are young Christian men and we pride ourselves in cleaning up the job site when we a through. You are the first customer in 15 years to complain about any of my employees being rude. A simple phone call to me voicing your concerns would have been the right way to handle this situation. After talking to the contractor on site he told me he moved the insulation and was going to put it back. Again let me say I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Please call me if you would like to discuss this any further I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely David Poston"
About 2 weeks after the work was performed, the outlet didn't work anymore. I called David on a Sunday night and told him what had happened, he said he would have someone out first thing Monday. They came by on Monday AM and he checked the outlet, said it was a bad GFI. He changed it out in no time, no charge. Extremely pleased with the response time and professionalism!
