Smooth-work done well-good communication re:ordering of parts and end date

It worked out great. The car actually looked better than new.

Luckily there was nothing to be alarmed about. However, I certainly did not like how I was treated by the service manager-Bill Whitaker. He was actually pretty nasty. VERY nasty as a matter of record. Called and told me that the car did not have an issue with the transmission but told me I needed tires and an oil change which I already knew. It was the manner he told be-dictating it rather than informing me as a valued customer. He had absolutely NO tact and was not helpful to me. Treated me rough when I came into his office to pick up my car. Directed or commanded me to go the the service desk and pick up the key and get out of his office. He told me that the replacement tires were going to be around 350.00 for a pair. I called him back concerning the tires and then he told me they did not "do tire warrentys" Why in the world would you put tires on a car, at a MERCEDES dealership if you can not even warrenty the tires!!? Imagine what nightmare it would be to try to get a warranty out of their workmanship for a mechanical repair on your precious Mercedes!!HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR OR GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!! EVER!! They do not care about their customers whatsoever.

Usually, things went pretty well. This last time I picked up my car after being re-keyed, drove to work, and then when I returned to my car at 5pm the steering wheel locked. I called the dealer, and they promised to have someone call me right back, as I was stranded, but no one ever did. I was more exasperated with my particular car (Land Rover, Discovery) than the dealer, but I traded it in anyway - tried to buy from Phillips Volvo, since I am usually happy with their service, but ended up going somewhere else through no fault of their own. I would have appreciated at least a partial credit on the work done on my ignition, which obviously didn't solve the problem.

We service our car at the dealership for our auto needs, the service is always great and the service people are very friendly and helpful. Our tires were installed on our car very quickly with a prompt appointment time. The price for the tires was very reasonable.
