I lost $1441 plus the tenants that wanted to move in on the 8/1/14, so another $1650. He took my
money on 7/15/14, and told me it would be 3 days to complete the entire
interior of my home. After I paid him the rest of his money, and bought
more supplies, he refused to return my calls, emails, or texts.
After I threatened to sue him, he finally sent me a text with another sob story about his wife leaving him and taking his car with his phone. I already knew it was a bunch of lies, but I just wanted him to finish the job. He assured me he would send me something in writing the following day, but of course never did. I now wasted another day on him.
I am in the military and unfortunately not in the area. I will definitely
be taking him to court when I get back, and everyone else should do the same. I emailed the Board of Contractors and
will be filing a complaint. I've written ads on Craigslist as well,
because he has several ads there. I will continue to write bad reviews
about him until I get my money back. I even called the police to get all
the supplies back that I paid for. We shall see what's done about that.
I don't want anyone else to be scammed by him!!!

Terrible and fraudulent.  He cannot be trusted he has promised to come out 3 times and has been a no show.  At this point he has stolen $500 o my money.  Eric Rodriguez is the owner/painter

The wife used Mr. Rodriguez to do some painting in the house. Once the price was settled on and half the cost paid up front the work began. First day was doing repair i.e. fixing nail holes and etc. Everything seemed to be going along fine, they returned the following day and started to paint. This is where it get interesting! They where using a paint sprayer and set of fire alarm in the house and the fire department was dispatched, after everything calmed down they left early with the promise of returning in the morning. Wife get's a call informing her that they would try to make it their today, but he was having vehicle problems, and never showed up. The following week they did return and asked if he could get the second half of the payment as the repair  work for the vehicle cost where high. Wife gave them the rest owed and they painted some more. The following visit was time to walk around and place tape on the areas that needed touching up once the paint had dried. Wife did this as asked before they returned to speed the job along. Now keep in mind I am deployed to Afghanistan and the wife is at the house with our children, a 9 year old and 13 months old. They returned late that morning and began working on the touch up and finish painting the area's that still need painting, ceiling, bathroom, and trim. After being at the house for only a 2 hours they came down stairs and said they where going to go get something to eat for lunch. Normally they would leave the work trailer parked in front the house while at lunch and take it with in the evening. The wife thought is strange that they took the trailer this time. Mr. Rodriguez will not return her calls or text and we are left with tape on the walls, plastic on the floor and a half finished job we paid for.

Well I have to edit this review. Mr. Rodriguez did finish the job, his partner did. I got an email from his step son saying that his daughter was in the hospital and that was the reason for not returning and emails or phone calls. This email only came after I replied to post on Craiglist, no return calls or text for two days prior.  I understand the sense of helplessness when you child is sick but I also understand that my customer is my life blood. It would taken only a few minutes to step outside the hospital room and make 1 call every two hour to info your customer of the situation, I am 100% sure every one would have understood. My wife painted a lot of the stuff left un-finished by R&R Painting so once they did make it back there was only handful of things needed attention. Communication would gone a long way here, poor handling of a bad situation.
