"[removed member name], As another layer of our communication process (like when we cannot get a hold of a customer via a phone call), we also "email" our customers. As we discussed with you, we did email to the address that was given on 6/13/14 that your laptop was ready. It is unfortunate that someone was not able to check it until much later for whatever reason. Therefore, in this case, the delay (of your laptop sitting in our office but fixed for 2 weeks) was not any real lack of communication issue on our part. Also, with this work being completed on 7/15/14 we are not sure why you waited until 3 months later on 10/21/14 to voice your concerns here on Angie's List. Lastly, as you mentioned with your laptop actually being fixed and your only issue was with us "not communicating" that your laptop was ready, we are puzzled with why you still gave us an "overall rating" of a D.
