Boats
Sea D.A. Yachts listed a 2007 Sea Ray 36 Sedan Bridge boat located in Connecticut.
The sales person is D.A. Adams, the owner of Sea D.A. Yachts.
I am in New Jersey, so the boat was not too far away from me.
I looked at the boat, we agreed on a price and I sent a deposit along with the Sales Agreement.
The boat was surveyed and sea trailed on June 11th, 2014.
One engine was found to have a mechanical problem and the boat was not 'Accepted' as per the sales agreement.
This was communicated verbally and in writing.
D.A. agreed to return the deposit.
A few days later, I called D.A. asking about the return of the deposit.
He said it would be mailed within a few days.
I called back several times since, and now D.A. is not taking my calls and he has not responded to voice messages or emails.
I am still trying to get my deposit back -- will probably have to get an attorney involved.
