Ed repaired my hot water heater. He did a great job. I will ask for him the next time I need plumbing services.

He talk to as a person not as I was not there. The plumbers I work with they donâ t talk to you as a person, because they are used to new construction work.

I am a 61 year Old Disabled Vet who had a sink drain problem. I had tried to unclog the drain myself. I had removed the P Trap and had access to the pipe in the wall directly. After trying to snake the pipe and getting nowhere I reached out for help. When the plumber came I had explained to him what I had done and had the access to the wall pipe open. I left him go to work to see if he could get my drain unclogged. After hearing him on his phone and about a 90 minute time span my problem was not fixed and my sink basin was scuffed or scratched. The plumber then informed me they would have to go up on my roof and snake down my vent pipe tp clear the clog. At this time I had asked him to give me an estimate for the job. To my surprise it was $825 to do the job. Living on disability and a fixed income this i something I could no afford. After paying $199 for nothing since my problem was not resolved. Also my basin was scratched or scuffed from the plumber trying to run a snake through it after there was no reason to. After making the payment of $199 and the plumber leaving I was fortunate to have a neighbor who went up on my roof and use a drain snake through the vent pipe and had my clog open in like 10 minutes. I just wonder what happen to the real working class people from the world I grew up in? I praise my neighbor for saving me an $825 mistake and hope others will no fall for or be victim to companies such as this. Now off the see what a Basin repair or replace will cost me.

The water heater workmanship was just fine. The minus comes from their determination to have the demolition company out to demo and replace the wall. That company wanted to cause an extra cost by removing the one time use exhaust to the water heater and having Mr. Rooter come back to replace it again at cost. This part was completed by another company without affecting the exhaust at all and saving me about $1k.
