Real Estate Service
We were given the name of this realtor through the mortgaging bank. The goal was to have a home selected and ready to close by February. That gave us five months to find a house and start the paperwork process. In January we found a house we liked. However, when it was time to make the proposals, the agent constantly pushed us (buyer) to offer more than we felt the home was worth. I was not comfortable with this, but I also trusted my agent's knowledge of the housing market in my location. She seemed to want to get rid of us as soon as possible. Imagine my surprise when I later found out the comps for the house I purchased were far lower than the final contract price paid for the house.
