George and I spoke on the phone a couple of times about a quote and job. After a couple of days and receiving but 1 other quote (or any contact) from 5 different and quot;Aand quot; rated companies I called from Angies List, I asked George to stop by and take a look at the job.
When George stopped by and gave a verbal offer I asked for a written quote. At the time George told me all he had was estimate worksheets and nothing to give a formal quote on. I gave Leger Fence permission to start on the job but insisted I needed to have a written quote.
Needless to say 3 days later the fence was complete. I never received a formal quote. However, the cost was as orginally agreed upon and there was no dispute of any kind relating to the quality of work,materials or cost.
The only reason I gave a and quot;Band quot;in professionalism was George's inability to provide a written quote to specify work to be performed and cost even though I asked for it on several ocassions.

They did fabulous work and I will use them again. They stood out because they kept us informed, craftsmanship, and the follow up was great. I would give them an A rating.

Mr Leger was courteous and prompt. We were very satisfied with the job. We have used him to do fencing in the past and will again, as needed in the future.

George installed the fence as promised, but within a couple months I had a problem with one of the gates. I called him and asked him to come by and look at it. He promised to come by and check it out but didn't. My wife called and he promised to come by that Saturday and fix it, but again he was a no show. After numerous calls by both my wife and myself he either wont answer his phone or makes excuses why he hasn't been able to come by. I would rather he tell us straight up that he is too busy or wont stand behind his work, than lie and give excuses. If the problem were beyond his control, all he had to do was come by, check it out and say so. I would have accepted that.

I called for an estimate and George Leger arrived the same day for an estimate. Once the proposal was signed, he scheduled the job to work around my schedule so I could be home. George and his crew arrived Friday and removed the fence fronts and dug the holes and set the posts in concrete. George and his crew returned Sunday and hung the rails and boards and two 4' gates. They did an excellent job and answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. They even tied back my rose bush so it wouldn't get damaged. We were so happy with the job he did we've hired him to build our front fence.

The deck they built was wonderful. It was very solid and the fence is great too. I don t have any complaints about this company. They did high quality work at a very reasonable price. I would be happy to pass their name on to others.

Leger Fence got the fence we were looking for up in great timing and it looked great. They let us know how long it would take and what it would cost; they met both of those. They were very professional in all aspects and when they were done they left the yard as it was before they got started. I would recommend them and their prices to others looking at fencing.
