I hired Keith Horton to do a major renovation to my dad’s Virgina Beach ranch house that was built in 1958. I met with several contractors but in the end decided that Keith had the knowledge, experience, and professionalism that our project needed. I was not wrong. Keith organized all the paperwork and drawings for permits and coordinated inspections. He managed a reliable team of subcontractors that did excellent work. As you can imagine, all of this was not cheap and took some time, but Keith worked wonders with our budget and time constraints so my 86-year-old dad could return to his home in a timely manner. I live in Michigan and was managing this project for my dad so I could only be onsite a few times. Keith was patient with all the unexpected work and requests for changes. It was so important that I could trust Keith and rely on his decisions. I was never disappointed. I will be forever grateful to him. I highly recommend Keith for any project, big or small.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Keith and his partner had to take a very old deck and replace it. From the start they were punctual, had great communication, and really cared about the work that they did. I highly recommend this company.

He did an excellent job. He came out and did an assessment and came back the next day with all the necessary equipment and materials. Great quality materials. They worked in extremely hot weather. It is a perfect job.

It has truly become so difficult to find someone that you can trust and who cares about the work that they do. Thankfully, we no longer have that problem. Keith did an amazing job with our wooden banister and stair rail. Before there was the original rod iron railing that was outdated and unstable. Our stairs and entryway is now something that we can look at and smile. We could never thank you enough- so we hope a review could show our true appreciation. Here is the deal. If you are looking for a professional who treats you like family...Keith Horton is the man! Within 5-minutes of meeting Keith I knew we were going to do business with his fine company. We talked about 3 different projects. 1st project was to take our 1972 Living Room down to studs and bring it into 2019. Wood paneling was removed, a bar area was removed, bookshelves removed, new walls were installed, doors were moved and he created more space for the master closet that used to be the bar area, plumbing work was accomplished, electrical work, can lighting installed, new ceiling installed, trimmed out everything, primed and painted to finish . From demo to finished product in 3-weeks! Every day the work area was cleaned up and he did everything possible to keep the dust spreading to other parts of the home. Outstanding job and could not ask for anything more. 1st project complete. Next he is going to build a screened in porch off of the living room. The 3rd project is to build my 24 x 30 detached garage. Keith...thank you for everything and know we will do business again real soon.

Keith is very personable and works with the customer at a first name basis. He is very involved and is willing to work with you as the project moves on. Very adaptable company as well is versatile with little unfinished projects previously started. Works very cleanly and quickly. Willing to bend over backwards to meet the customers demands, wants, and needs. Will absolutely be going back to J.G Horton and sons for future renovations!!
