I would use them again in the future. They had to come back an additional time to fix the issue. They explained the work to be done sufficiently.

I originally bought the 90 dollar deal to have them inspect and clean my air conditioning system because this is the closest to a heat pump deal I could find. He then contacted me and informed me of the differences and then said that he would inspect and clean my system for 125 vice 90 and I could pay the difference when the tech had done the work. I agreed.
The good: The tech arrived promptly at 1000 as agreed and began work. I watched the majority of the work and he was thorough and took his time. He answered all questions I had and seemed knowledgeable in his profession.  
The not so good: When the tech was finished he handed me an invoice stating that the total was 257.00 because he charged me for cleaning the evap. coils in addition to the system inspection he performed. However, since I had already paid for the deal, I only owed him 167.00.  Here is an excerpt from the deal just so we are clear what the heat pump equivalent should have done for the agreed price:

-Inspecting and testing capacitors
-Inspecting fan bladesCleaning condenser coil and removing debris
-Inspecting service valves for proper operation

-Also includes up to eight ounces of Freon if needed
Now all of that said, in the companies defense, I did not try to argue with them about the price and had I truly wanted I am sure I could have called the owner and gotten the price reduced to if not the agreed upon price at least quite a bit lower.
The bottom line: This company is thorough and does a good job with what they say they will do, just be careful about using their deals and ensure you get all estimates in writing.

Went very well. He arrived right on time, completed the work and gave me a price that was very competitive. Very happy, will use again in the future.

I called JD Dimare Heating and Air because my AC wasn't working, before they sent a tech out to look at it the owner 'talked me through possible solutions' , these were things that I had already tried but seemed to work this time. The AC cut out again within a few hours and I called to have it serviced. The tech came out the first time on 9/30/11 and was relatively gruff and unfriendly. He said he tightened the wiring in the attic which seemed to fix the problem.We were charged $134.50 for this. But within 24 hours of his doing so the unit cut out once again. My husband then called the company (as they had been reluctant to actually talk to me) and had another service call done on 10/2/11. The same tech came out and was again boardering on unfriendly, this time he replaced the transformer and that seemed (still seems) to have solved this issue. We were charged $192.00 for this visit. We have since found a better company that we will be using from this point on, who will actually fix the problem and not have surprise charges. The only reason my husband chose to call this company back is because he felt that if they said they fixed the problem then and they hadn't they should actually do the job...

JD Dimare was very good, they are quick to respond. They are a little expensive but they respond very quickly and do a good job.

I have an illness, and I needed my AC unit fixed right away because I couldn't breathe. The owner is the one that called me back, and he came out himself right away. So far I think they are excellent. I just signed up with them last summer, and I have been very pleased with their service.
