About us

We install and service residential or commercial, water wells, pumps, irrigation systems, foggers, misters, drainage, trenching and boring.We also install water lines and frostless yard hydrants as needed. We employ 2 people. Use a sub-contractor to install our wells and we do the rest. Our pump, well and irrigation systems come with 3 yr. parts and labor warranty, using Hunter brand irrigation materials and Sta-rite- Berkeley pumps. Our hourly rates are $75.00 hr. man hour starting when we get to job.Most jobs are done in 1-3 hrs. Owner is experienced over 20 yrs. in the business. We are licenced in city of Va. Beach Certificate #2010-213994-R and have Class B contractors license ISC #2705 110368

Our system was installed 11 years ago and we knew that some heads were wearing out.  Kevin and Mike worked with me to identify problems and come up with possible solutions to get the most out of our system.  After working on our house, they went over to a neighbors that had just moved in and spent more time helping them get a system up and running that had not been used for several years.  Neighbor was also pleased with the work and the reasonable price.  Would definitely hire again.

Kevin and Mike arrived promptly and performed the work as requested.  My sprinkler pump was recycling repeatedly.  They reprimed the pump and bled the reservoir tank which solved the problem.  They replaced 2 sprinkler heads to give better coverage to an area of the lawn which was not receiving enough water.  They checked the entire system and repaired a leak in a drip line.  i have used them for all of my sprinkler needs for the past few years to include 2 major revisions to the irrigation system due to additions to the home.  They are very professional, courteous and dependable.  Kevin is excellent at laying out a sprinkler system which provides exceptional coverage for the lawn and plant areas.  I highly recommend Innovative Water Solutions.

Kevin and his crew arrived at the agreed upon time and went right to work. He had visited our house earlier and provided us with a plan and estimate, therefore he arrived ready to work. The work went off without a hitch and I was charged the agreed upon price upon completion. I could not have been more pleased with the results. Seasonal heavy rains have come and gone since the project, and the puddling and drainage problem which caused me to call Innovative have disappeared. There is little, if any standing water left in my yard after the rain has stopped. The company cleaned up after itself, and replaced the turf which had been disrupted in order to install the drainage ditch. The area where the water runs off, inside the drainage ditch, is far removed from the front or side of my house and is hidden from street view. All work was satisfactorily and professionally completed.

"We fixed the pump to working order and recieved a call a short while later that it stopped working. Upon returning we found that the well was no longer working, which was due to an original steel well and pump which was installed in 1960's. Had let Member know before working on pump that it may not work for long due to age of pump and well. Informed customer she needed a new well."

See above for the story. Bottom Line - Routine maintenance took over a month to complete, partially my fault for waiting so long, but 3 visits separated by more than 6 weeks and doubling price of repair parts is . . . ridiculous. Contractor prioritized and quot;big joband quot; over homeowner.

Quality work? Maybe, we'll see in the Spring. Quality service and price? NO!

Kevin and his team were very friendly; however after the work was and quot;completedand quot; my husband and I were highly disappointed with the job that was performed. The irrigation heads used are some of the cheapest in the industry. The plan of where irrigation was to go was not done correctly according to contract. The coverage is not accurate and does not cover all of our lawn. More importantly, we are spending another $3200 from another company to CORRECT innovative water solutions work. When we called Kevin to ask questions in regards to this work, our calls went unanswered and no returns were made. We would most certainly NOT recommend this business to other consumers and will make certain to credit the company that gets this job done right by cleaning up innovative water solution's orginal work.

"Customer must have got bad info on heads that we use, as we use Hunter Prosprays and I-20 rotors which are top of the line heads that Hunter makes. We had no contract and was working through another company which work was performed as talked about. [removed member name] was asked repeatedly throughout the job if things were OK and we fixed what problems she didn't like.We came back twice after we were done for follow up and added heads to back yard which was not part of job initially. We had head to head coverage when job was done so we had complete coverage. I was paid for pump and well by the[removed member name] at start but they refused to pay for any of irrigation system so I was told.So I have recieved no moneys for the irrigation system."

IKevin (Owner/Operator) arrived at the agreed upon time and went right to work. I had a leak in my underground sprinkler system and asked him to find and repair it. The leak had been caused a pool in my yard for approximately two weeks. After unsuccessfully attempting to troubleshoot the problem myself, i called Innovative Water Solutions. Even though Kevin could not promise me a service date earlier than two weeks out, I took it as he came highly rated by Angie's List. Upon starting the repair, Kevin quickly discovered the problem, and replaced the faulty part. After replacing the defective part, he checked all remaining zones of my sprinkler system where we discovered several zones incorrectly wired. He wired the zones correctly and ensured I knew what he was doing and why. As a homeowner, this was the first time any service person has ever offered to show me how to service anything which could require a service call in future, and require payment to a service company. I was pleasantly surprised and will recommend Innovative Water Solutions to anybody in the future.

They were very prompt and professional. They responded to my e-mail inquiry very quickly with a phone call and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. They called the next day and said they were able to come sooner if I wanted. They found the problem quickly, adjusted my sprinkler heads for me, and gave me instructions on the controller unit which the previous installer had not done properly. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them for future work!!!!!

They walked us through the system, answered all questions, and have since then provided timely and courteous follow up service

Exceptional work. Kevin worked with the landscaper to provide the best coverage for our plants and shrubs and the new grass. He had to do a lot of troubleshooting on the existing system and repaired or replaced sprinkler heads and control valves did not adjust the cost. He has returned promptly and without any hesitation to fine tune some sprinkler head patterns for better coverage. He and his crew are very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous and the quality of their work is outstanding. I have already recommended them to neighbors and friends.
