Haynes' service is terrible. No one answers phones. I had to go in person to confront the manager to get their attention to effect repairs. The long-term service policy I purchased from them has equally poor service and follow-through. Don't purchase anything from Haynes that might need to be serviced or repaired. You will regret it.

Haynes customer service is an oxymoron. It does not exist. I've been trying for weeks to get a response to my request for a repair to furniture bought a few months ago and is still under warranty. I've tried to call. I can't get through to a human on their phone system. Their phone lines are never answered. I went on Chat, explained my situation to the online agent, and was told someone would respond. Nada! No response. I sent a personal message to Kat Shelton, store manger. No response. I don't know what else to do except to drive there in person and stage a protest.

The installers did not follow the plan written up and signed by me for the carpet installation. Our Family Room was supposed to have one seam and instead wound up with three - two of which were done very poorly and looked terible. We complained and it took Haynes 10 days to act and approve of half the carpeting being replaced so ther would noly be one seam. We questioned whether the carpet would match because of the different dye lot and were told not to worry. Two weeks later half the carpet was removed and the new piece installed. The installers useda pen to mark the old seam and then took a cutter down that line. When they glued the two pieces together some of the ink from the pen stained the seam in multiple places. In addition, the color of the new carpet did not match the old piece. We asked for a refund - which Haynes approved after 5 days.

"Dear Angie's list, We are really sorry to see this review. Our flooring team worked very hard to try to please [members name]. The team and their manager worked with her for two weeks (in May 2014), but in the end she was still not happy with the work, so we offered an inspection to remove the flooring and refund her, but she did not want to do that, and asked us for a discount. We gave her a substantial discount as well as a $150.00 gift certificate to make her happy in hopes that she would come shop with us again. She accepted our offer and the refund was completed and sent in June 2014. We value our customers and thank you for the opportunity to respond."

Had five bedrooms of carpet installed. This entire process was a nightmare. After 2 years carpet is already falling apart and the costumer service department will not even listen to my claim. Below is a description of the entire event. The installation of the carpet went horribly. The seams in the carpet where highly visible and the crew was unprofessional. I had to have one room rep-carpeted at my own expense. The installers did not install the padding correctly in two rooms. This left gaps when you stepped down. I had to have the installer out four or five times to replace padding. Each time dealing with costumer service was a nightmare. They were rude and would act like I was at fault or nothing was wrong. The carpet is now almost two years old and looks very worn and matted down. I am wondering the carpet installed is truly the same quality as what I purchased. 
If you can purchase a carpet or flooring from somewhere else do so. Don't even enter this store.

"The (member name removed) purchased genuine Karastan carpet. We opened a service file May 6, 2013 for their report of matting. We contacted Karastan and filed a claim with them on May 7th 2013 for the (member name removed). Karastan replied May 15th 2013 that matting was not a covered issue. Customer Service Rep left a message for the (member name removed). On May 30th 2013-The (member name removed) disputed this, and we contacted Karastan again- and filed another claim. Followed up with Karastan and customer throughout June. Karastan agent Maria responded July 15th 2013 saying they said they would send out an inspector to the (member name removed) home, but asked when the carpet had last been professionally cleaned stating that the warranty terms state the carpet needs to be professionally cleaned every 18 months to maintain warranty. (warranty can be viewed on [hyperlink removed] under "warranty" tab.). Our customer service Rep left several messages for the (member name removed) advising them of the answer from Karastan and asked that they please respond so we could arrange for Karastan to send out their inspector. We did not have a response from the (member name removed). We kept our service file open until August 2nd 2013. Service Rep Melita. Haynes Customer Service dept."

Two young men were dropped off at my home at about 10 a.m. on a Saturday. I had removed all the contents of one bedroom because it had just been painted, and I didn't want furniture moved around in there. They moved furniture from the master bedroom in there and managed to bang up the walls and door frame. While installing the carpet, the man knocked chunks out of the baseboards (I was warned about scuffs) and pounded so h****** something that the cover of my light fixture fell out and broke in the kitchen below. After they left, I didn't have cable (or internet or telephone). The boss came out to check the cable and discovered that it had been cut in one spot and stapled in another. He did offer to pay for the cable repair but not the light fixture or the baseboards. The installers were just very unpleasant and unprofessional, and I'm sorry I ever chose Haynes.

It went excellently. The salesman was very attentive and focused on what we wanted even though it took a trip through the entire store to find it. The delivery was set for several days later, they called to confirm the day before, they called a hour ahead of time. The gentlemen delivering were professional and friendly, gently brought the unit in and put it in place. Next they called the company to verify the delivery, but the company wanted to talk with us before closing the delivery ticket. We confirmed that we received the merchandise as expected and that all was well with the office personnel at Haynes. Overall it was a great experience.

My wife and I recently purchased $5,000.00 worth of bedroom furniture from Haynes. We loved the set but, upon delivery, the men delivering the furniture never gave a one hour call prior to delivery, which they told us they would do. Upon arrival, the personnel immediately told us that the furniture could not be brought up our stairs. We asked them to attempt and they became argumentative and condescending to my wife. One attempt was made with very little effort as if out of spite and the delivery people would not measure the staircase. We ordered the furniture be returned at once. Our sales Rep Steve was great but, by the time he called us back we were so angry at the delivery people that we canceled our order. We will never purchase through Haynes or their affiliates.

Very poorly. Long delay in actually getting the carpet--no updates from company during this period. Took three crews, over the course of the week to do the work--first crew insisted measurement was off--manager came out and remeasured--then second crew said that they did not have the tools, and left-- third crew finally did the job. Manager said that he was sorry, promised something for our trouble. After three weeks, no action. Called to remind him-he acted as if he was putting something together. What we got in the end was a coupon identical to the ones available every week in the newspaper.

The crew that came out from Haynes Furniture Store took all of the furniture out of the room before starting the work. They didn't scuff the freshly painted walls or furniture during the job. They were fast and courteous and for that we recommend them to anyone who needs new carpet.

Haynes collected $100 in advance to perform measurements for both Carpet and Hard Flooring. Measurement people never scheduled the appointments in the agreed time window, and quotes were never provided. Haynes, after two certified letters requesting a refund of the $100 for services never rendered, refused to answer either letter within over 45 days total. Both letters advised we'd post on Angie's List as well file a complaint with the BBB. We're also reporting this matter to the BBB.

Steve Brown is an excellent sales person. He answers questions very patiently, thoroughly, and with no pressure (a rarity in the carpet business). I was able to take advantage of a very good sale and got a good grade of carpet for a very good price. He was also able to arrange to have a good crew do the installation. (Steve has been there a while and knows who to recommend). Their measurer, Ms. Parker, is also a professional. She arrived on time and measured accurately. Some companies give a lower price per yard but add ten or more yards to what you really need. The installers were good workers, did good work, and cleaned up when they were finished. A very good total job.

They offered great service from the time of choosing which carpet I wanted all the way to finish the installation. The carpet fit perfectly in all of the rooms and they did a good job of removing the old ones. They were here on time and were very careful.

The carpet that they installed looks great. We did choose the best quality carpet that they had. It cost us a little bit but it is definitely worth the money. They did a fine job of installing it. We do not have any complaints at all about Haynes.

We felt they did an adequate job on the carpets. I would have to say it was nothing to blow us away but our carpet was holding up good. There were no visible problems with our carpet or seams. They hauled away our old carpet and didn't leave us a big mess to clean up. They were able to finish our job on time.

I didn't like them at all. They did a terrible job installing our carpet. The seams look terrible and they didn't back up the carpet at all. We called and complained and the guy that came out and looked at our carpet said that there was nothing that they could do about it. He said that it was the best that they could do. We had to go through the store manager to finally get it repaired. It was a big hassle.

I was very happy with this company. They helped me in the beginning with picking out our carpet. The next day, they installed our carpet. It looks great. You can't see the tacks and it fits up against our walls perfectly. I am really not sure of the price however I do believe that the installation was included in the price.

We were not at all happy with the job done. The installers seemed to know what they were doing during the work, but after they left we noticed flaws. The carpeting is stretched tight enough, but there are seams showing in all three rooms. It is very visible and quite embarrassing when company notices it. We will have to have this done over again, but it will not be done by Haynes.

The quality of the carpeting is very high, and there was a great deal of assistance given to us, when trying to decide on which carpeting to purchase. The men, who installed it, do little of anything else, and it showed after they were through. The carpet is stretched very tight, and the seams are completely invisible. They were personable men, and it was all done in two and a half hours.

The carpeting was top shelf material, with extra padding underneath, and we had a great deal of help in selecting it. The installers came over for their part of the project two days later, and got right to work. The house was filled with dust after they removed the old carpeting, so after the new carpeting was installed they did a thorough cleaning of our house. The whole deal was done in one day. The new carpeting is beautiful, comfortable to walk on and easy to clean.

Unfortunately, we had to have them out twice to try and get the carpeting level in places and even after that it wasn't the best. When paying a price such as this, it's expected that the service would match that and it just wasn't the case. It didn't seem worth the time to keep having them come back; the carpet just wasn't going to get any better.

They day that they were supposed to install they called after the scheduled time to say they didn t have the carpet. It took another week after that. Even though we had already moved all the furniture and stuff. Then when they did make it out it was the wrong carpet again, and after agreeing to use this carpet they did a poor installation job also. It's safe to say I wouldn t use them again, and I would let others know that there is better pricing and services at other carpet dealers here in town.
