Geek Squad - Best Buy

When I received the computer back all the programs and data were wiped clean. I called the manager of Geek Squad at the Princess Anne store and he said I had a bad hard drive and they replaced it before shipping it off. My hard drive wasn't bad when I bought it in and they had it for 4 days so I'm sure they ran diagnostic prior to backing it up and it ran just fine. Plus no one from the store called me to tell be they were replacing the hard drive. If they did I would of had the hard drive fixed. To the manager it was no big deal, he said, "they fixed it so why am I complaining and if I have some numbers I can put all my programs back on". No one ever said save these numbers in case all your programs are erased. He said "even if we did break your hard drive you got a new one and should be happy".  He did not really take any responsibility for breaking my hard drive, didn't offer any solution or apology and told me, "I can't help it if you lost the Microsoft numbers that's not our problem".  Well now I'll have to purchase the Microsoft Office again including Publisher again because they broke my hard drive. I asked him,, "once I get the programs back on can he transfer my data for free? He said, "absolutely not".  So now I'll have to pay someone to put all my data back on the computer.  This is a BIG DEAL TO ME but the Manager did not see my side at all and thought it was no big deal. I brought the computer in for a simple repair and ended up with a shell of a computer. At least my power cord works now.
