Mr. Mike Mercer is a Technological Wizard and an angel.  As you can see from the above,  I was having major issues with my Dell desktop computer.  I had received an email from what I thought was USPS about a package being delivered (I recently had ordered something online) -- and it was RANSOMWARE!   I was so mad at myself since I'm very careful re viruses, etc.   I had an AntiVirus Security Software/Program on my computer, however, none provides protection from this type of virus.   My entire hard drive was encrypted and I couldn't access anything.  After googling for a few days trying to figure out how to fix the issue, I searched Angies List for help.  Thank heavens I found EZ-PC Service, Mr. Mike Mercer.   Mike came by and pick up my hard drive.  He was so knowledgeable, understanding and listened to me ranting and raving about Ransomware, etc.  
    Mike took the time to try to restore any files he could, but unfortunately everything on the hard drive was encrypted.  As he was working on my computer, he kept me updated and found numerous other issues with my computer.  He asked if I wanted to update to Windows 10 and I said yes since I had issues with Windows 8 even before the virus.  While updating from 8 to 8.1, he discovered Windows was corrupted and system couldn't update.  He fixed the issue and got the system to 8.1.  However, the problem started again, so he did another fix and system took all patches and then was able to upgrade to Windows 10. 
     He delivered the harddrive, reconnected it and showed me how Windows 10 works and the differences from Windows 8.  
My system works like a charm and is running smoother and even better than when I first I purchased it -- all thanks to EZ-PC Service, Mr. Mike Mercer.

Mike Mercer continues to be my computer guy.  Why not?  He is professional, knowledgeable, works around my schedule and is basically a good person--honest, trustworthy and empathetic.  Mike was recently my go to on the application of Windows 10 as well as scanning for malware and setup of certain features.  I am always100% satisfied with Mike's service.

No need for panic.  Again, the quality of Mike's service was exceptional.  He professionally and calmly performed magic and my computer was once again in perfect working condition.  Mike is a master of the intricacies of the computer and is able to provide immediate response to my queries and any follow-ups.  Mike goes beyond the boundaries of solving problems by providing explanations and recommendations. Mike certainly succeeds in his aim to please.

I had an outdated Windows computer so purchased a new computer with Windows 8.1. I have used Mike at EZ-PC Service before and was happy with his work and confident he could get the job done, so I called him, and he agreed to transfer all the files as well as setting up anti-virus protection. He came to my house to pick up the computers and returned them a couple days later as promised. All work was done as requested and on time. Mike is very personable and easy to deal with.  I would recommend him to others.

Their quality of service was excellent and their ability to resolve the issue was excellent.  He was upfront  what the price will be.  He came to the house to pick up the computer.  He returned it after two or three days and it was the time he said he will have it back and it was free of viruses.

Before we met face to face, when I called Mike Mercer frantic with computer issues, he came across as trustworthy, highly knowledgeable and skilled and confident.  Yes, it appeared the issues were beyond serious but Mike came to check things out.  I was preparing to go out of town and needed to solve my PC problems as quickly as possible.  The computer spent that night in Mike's shop but was returned the next day in excellent working order, the 'bad" things which had invaded it obviously expertly and thoroughly removed.  I value the fact that I now have someone I can call upon and count on in the future for all PC issues, especially including routine maintenance.  It goes without saying that I highly recommend Mike Mercer. 

Everything went well as it always does with Mike.  My computer works great now.
