Energy Saving Exteriors

The workers were pleasant and thoguhtful, accomodating our 2 big dogs and working around us for the entire summer. They never arrived before 9 AM and left before 4 PM daily. Many days they did not show up, stating they were "pulled" to another job. They did not follow the manufacturers instructions on installation and within a couple of months the issues arouse....the deck surface boards all expanded severely. They warped when they could not continue to expand and they cracked bricks when place between two outside brick walls. The expansion was over 3 inches per 12 foot board!!!!!! All face boards warped extensively and all edge molding warped and broke over the next few months. They came out to replace edge molding this time with glue and they warped and broke a few months later. Every phone call required 2 or more follow-ups toget a reply. The customer service people are nice and accomodating on the phone, but NO ACTION was the norm. After over 1 year, they finally came out and inspected the problem and blamed the maufacturer and helped me file a warrantee complaint with GAF....the folks at GAF were prompt and immediately approved a settlement for what ESE estimated it would cost in materials and labor to fix the deck. (over $10000) I received a check within 2 months and contacted ESE to do the work. They IMMEDIATELY arrived at my house to collect the portion of the $ for materials so they could order them and "get started as soon as they arrive". They have had my check for 3 months. I am still waiting despite multiple phone calls. It will be 2 years in October since the deck was initially completed. A complete nightmare.

The crew leader was absolutely outstanding. The sales team was sad. They quoted very high first and, I sat down and worked on it and got it reduced. They did many process changes. Initially, the house was originally going to have 8 foot walls, and we changed that to 9 foot, and they bought that right away. The door from the inside to the sun room was different and we made a selection. When that came there was some concern and they switched that immediately. I am absolutely delighted with the deck and the railing. They did an excellent job with the foundation. They solved a little drainage problem for me in an innovative way. They even changed the AC to a split unit without any problems.

I really do feel like they were not offering their lowest price right off the bat. They quoted a price and when I came back with a a lower quote from another company they quickly lowered their price as well. The previous work was great. They sold me great windows at a reasonable price. They were also very pleasant to talk to. I was disappointed when it did not work out again.

The salesman was great with his tips. The people who showed up were great too. All the employees except the salespeople and one technician were subcontractors. The salesman lied to us in that regard which I didn?t like. He wasn?t forthcoming. I didn?t have any complaints with the subcontractors, though. The quality of the windows and the quality of installation was good. The price was great too. I had some issues with them initially as they had misordered the windows twice.

What happens is they subcontract the installation. The guy that I got did 50/50 work, the windows were in but all in the same way. He forgot some parts, etc and I found out about that later. The company never came back to look at his work and be sure he was doing quality work. The product itself is good and the seals are ok, a couple of them were faulty after a few years. The windows are lifetime guaranteed to the owner and for 10 years for whoever buys the house. Getting them to replace the bad windows has been somewhat of a problem. I had three bad windows and now I'm down to two and this has been going on for close to a year. It has something to do with the measurement so I am not happy with that, but the windows are fine.

We were given an estimate of the jobs to be done and were shown examples of the products that were going to be used as well as photographs of other jobs done by them. We worked with them to ensure that the windows and doors were what we needed and that the colors both inside and out were what we wanted. For the sunroom, we worked with them to pick where the doors and the landing and ramp were to be placed as well as what kind of windows, etc. we wanted. We were given time tables which were kept. When work started, the men were polite, professional and fun to be around. They cleaned up each evening and then made sure to leave the things we wanted and to take all the rest away. They were polite to our neighbors who inspected the work daily! When they needed to make changes or had questions, the always asked us. They came back for punch list items and fixed anything we asked them to. We could not have asked for better work or workers.

They did good work and I am satisfied with them.

They were great. They finished our job on time, and it didn't take them long to set up an appointment with us. I really liked that they stuck to their original estimate that they gave us. It has actually lowered our energy cost significantly. They did a nice job of cleaning up and offered us a good price.

They did a good job and they were very nice to work with. My son broke a window and Energy Saving Exterior came out and fixed them and they never charged me. I am very happy with what they have done here and I would recommend them to anybody looking for a sun-room in their home.

They did an excellent job installing our new windows. We were very happy with the work they did and the crew that was here. The windows were working fine and we didn t have to have them back for anything. They measured and installed everything properly.

They did an excellent job installing our superior customized windows. The job was completed in the time frame that was given. I really liked that they took our old windows out and they disposed of them for us. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. The results I got were well worth the price that I paid. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

This was a top notch job that was done by their crew. They arrived first thing in the morning, and worked straight through until it was done. They also had to do some wood replacement around the windows, that they did not know they would have to do. We were not charged for this. The house was cleaned up before they left, and the windows look beautiful.

They were the best company for this type of job. The installation they did on our front door was great. They put the screen door on the front also. The guy was so nice he even replaced my doorbell and fixed the top trim at no extra cost. They did good work and took pride in what they did and it showed. They did the windows on my house also and those were great too.

The initial estimate was substantially higher and then lowered after we declined their estimate. That should have been the red flag for us. The framing around five of the 11 windows were cracked. They completely forgot to caulk one window. I had some water damage as a result of the poor work that was done. We still had some leaking and all they have done was come out and took photos so far.

They came out when they were supposed to. The siding and the windows look great. These guys did a lot of work in a very short amount of time and when they were done they cleaned up all of their mess.

They did a great job on building our sunroom. Every time I call them they are really nice. They finished the job in two days. I really liked Kathy from this company as she took real good care of me. I love my sunroom and I love the fact that it has a lifetime warranty, if anything goes wrong they will take care of it.

I was excited to finally have found such a low priced company. I must have had three different companies come in and give estimates before finally finding this reasonably priced one. I don t know how your house operates, but, here we go the cheapest route possible. Anyway, I am glad we did because it all turned out just right. The roof looks great and we where able to save a bundle too.

Do not call these people, everything that they did was wrong, the wrong color shingles, and they had very bad attitudes. I gave them close to 10,000 dollars up front and they kept coming up with excuses why the work was not getting done, eventually they did finish but it took them several months.

The roofing job itself was done extremely well. The crew was professional, and well behaved while on our property. It took a total of two days to complete it; one to remove our old roof and one to install the new one. There were two things that bothered us; their high pressure sales tactics and the other was the fact that they left the loaded dumpster in our driveway for two days after the job was complete. Other than that, they did a good job.

At one point we had to stop the work they were doing because they were going to shingle over an area they shouldnt have been. It had to be inspected by a carpenter before proceeding. We have a ten year warranty on the shingles and their work. We have not had any problems with leaks or anything. They cleaned up the yard and the driveway before they left. I will not use this company again because I kept trying to call them and could not get them to come back out to take care of a little problem for me.

The job done by this company was horrible. The windows immediately started to cloud up. We do not know if this was caused by the product or the installation but it happened. They came back and re-installed two of the windows, and they clouded up shortly thereafter. We have called them countless times and they no longer return our calls. Considering the cost involved in this we feel they should have done more to solve the problem. We will never hire them again.

They did a fantastic job on the vinyl siding and we haven't had any problems with the work. The men that did the work removed all of the old siding and hauled it away for me. They cleaned up very well when they were done. The men were very nice.

The windows that I had installed are of very good quality as they should be because they were not cheap. I haven't had any problems with leaks. The workers were nice people. They cleaned up the mess when they were done and hauled the old windows out.

I love this company; they are kind of like my handyman. There is not a job to big or too small for them to handle. I believe the last thing they did was my front door. They have also done repairs to my roof and replaced some windows as well. They are always available to me when I need them, and it is always easy to get an appointment. I have never been turned down for a single job, and their pricing is very reasonable depending on what you have done. I cannot remember all the prices, but the repair to my roof was only about $125; it was just a little section that had been leaking. I would recommend these guys to anyone for any job.

We originally wanted them to do all of our windows, but they charged a great deal more than they quoted. The windows had the more expensive frames, which we did not ask for. In our opinion they were somewhat dishonest. The windows that were installed were done well. We ended up deciding to hire another company to finish the rest of the house, because of the enormous cost involved.
