Gene Raines responded to my initial call within a day to provide an
estimate. It was higher than I expected but it did include multiple man
hours of labor for wallpaper removal. He also provided great advice on
color selection.

His crew showed up on the date specified, on
time, and did excellent work. The normal work day begins at 8:00-8:15
and completes at 4PM. His painting crew is professional, and have
remained with the company for years, thereby giving him an advantage
over other painting contractors. He uses either Behr or Glidden
paints. All cleanup was done on the job site every day. The painters
worked quietly and professionally. Gene would inspect in the morning
and afternoon.

He did not want to abide by the contract because he said he did not read the contract and that his wife had typed it up. He did what he through was reputable. He ended up asking for 2000 dollars more because he told us he used more painting than he thought.

We noticed EM Raines when they did an exterior paint job in our neighborhood. We also noticed that they were there every weekday at 7AM sharp and that the final job was beautiful. We had bought an older house that needed painting, so we requested a quote. They started the job promptly and as scheduled.

This is the company if you want your painting job to be done right. Rusty, who was in charge of the job, was trustworthy, meticulous and hardworking. She was sensitive to our schedules and thoughtful in every way. Before painting, she thoroughly inspected our 87 year old house and scraped any areas of peeling paint. She also indicated areas that needed repair. The final paint job was professional and our house looks great. You get what you pay for. This company is worth every penny. When we do our interior painting, we will use this company. We recommend them without reservation.

I decided to have my living room and hallway painted last fall. I had the walls painted a country white and I am very satisfied with the results. The walls didn't have any cracks or holes in them so I didn't have to have them repaired. I also left the ceilings white so that saved me money too. The painters did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite while working in the house. I am very pleased with the work they did.
