Dr Johnny's Appliance

They said they couldn’t fix it and to call Kitchen Aid. 6 months later and 7 visits from their techs we still don’t have a refrigerator. We were promised a new refrigerator 2 months ago and are still waiting. The refrigerator is under warranty but it doesn’t seem to matter. They couldn’t care less. We have no recourse other than to get an attorney involved and sue to get our money back. If you buy from Johnny’s just hope your appliance doesn’t break. If it does your SOL!

The repairman was very professional and worked quickly. He followed up two days later to see if the ice maker was working well. I would highly recommend this company.

The stuff we get from him lasts. The price is not the best, but if it lasts, it's worth paying a little more.

I go back for the service and the fact that they are always responsive to the questions I have. Their prices aren't the best. I could get a cheaper appliance somewhere else, but I know they stand behind what they sell.

My husband has used him for over 20 years. He does the high end appliances. He doesn't do Samsung and all that service stuff. We have KitchenAid Bash and Wolf. We use him all the time. He has repaired our washer. He has repaired our dryer. I called him and within 20 minutes, I had somebody over there repairing my refrigerator. You can't ask for better service. He is outstanding and excellent. He is the only person I use when I want my appliances repaired because they have the best service. He is the only person I use when I go to purchase new appliances because he gives me the best prices, better than most of the stores in and around the area. If you go in to buy a refrigerator, and he says, 'Well, why don't you wait another week? They are going to have a rebate system. I will order it a week from now and you will get a $50 or a $300 rebate. This is the kind of person he is. He is not somebody that just says, 'Okay, fine' and charges you whatever. We trust him. We had a repair and he said, 'I could charge you all of this kind of money. But this 69 cents piece, if you unscrew this and unscrew that and put that in there, that is all it costs to fix it'

When they delivered it, the hinge was bent. The gentleman was out the day that I called him within 30 minutes. He went back and brought the piece. Within an hour, he had repaired it completely from the time I called to the time he finished.

The service was excellent. The workers are also excellent. They were on time. The work was completed excellently. I do not have any problems at all. I recommend them.

Some time ago I called Dr. Johnny's to purchase a dishwasher. I described what I wanted over the phone and a price I was willing to pay for the appliance including installation. They had one that met my requirements and I agreed to the purchase. The new dishwasher was delivered, the installed one removed, the new one installed. The installer was meticulous with the installation measuring and leveling until it was perfect. I called the store after the installer left (with the old dishwasher) and complemented the installer on his work. A few days ago one of the installation clips failed, I called the store this morning and they scheduled a repair. I'm so pleased that i chose Dr Johnny's for my purchase and installation.  Not only was the installed craftsman like in his work, but the customer service during my cal to report the broke clip was fantastic.

Dr Johnnys Appliances is a great company to purchase appliances from.  Jenny, Dr Johnny and the other team members really know appliances and really do care. My family (my parents, my siblings, and myself) have been buying appliances from  them for years.  They know about all brands and features and have helped us get great equipment over the years.  
 Dr Johnny in particular is a real pro in this business.  He has a great service team that can fix appliances when they need it.  I would highly recommend them.

Starting with the phone call everyone that I dealt with was helpful and professional.

Excellent experience! I have dealt with Jennie for about the last 6 years as we purchased appliances for the condo community that my employer developed and she is by far the best sales person I have ever encountered. Very knowledgeable and personable. She asks questions we never thought about and then guides us towards a more economical choice which almost always turned out to be a bit cheaper. When I needed a washer/dryer for my home, my husband did some research online and picked out the one he wanted us to buy, so I called Jennie. We then visited the store and after talking for a while, and with her guidance, we ended up changing our minds and saved some money. Awesome! Dr Johnny's is more interested in meeting your specific needs rather than trying to upsell something you don't want or need. When the appliances were delivered, the delivery guy noticed some cosmetic damage in the back of the washer. They automatically ordered another one, we used the damaged one, and a week later got a new one. No stress. We highly recommend them!

If you go in and but two, or three or four appliances, he works out some kind of a deal where he discounts all for volume. He works out of his home I think. I think I got a real deal on microwave, built in double oven and dishwasher. He delivered and packed them. A really nice deal actually. It's unique. Pretty much a one man operation or maybe a family. In an out of the way area of Virginia Beach but he has a good showroom although it's limited. He has a showroom in what used to be his house. The he can order anything that you want. Offers what I consider to be awfully good discounts. I was extremely pleased, the service is personable. There is never more than one person in there shopping, so you walk in and you are immediately taken care of by either he or his assistant. Good experience all around, kind of interesting. He has quality merchandise.
