Cost Crusher Tree Removal

Excellent. Returned my initial call right away. Was very professional and straight forward on what they could do, the price and when they could start. They were able to start earlier than the initial estimated date. Had the job done very quickly. They asked for permission to remove part of my vinyl fence for easier access and when they were finished they replaced the sections taken out, and replaced screws that were missing from a previous contractor removal. I recommended them to my father-in-law in Chesapeake and same results. Prompt, professional and efficient. I will absolutely use them again.

Mike Brian returned my call the same day I left him a message.  He came promptly at the appointed time to give me an estimate on removing a huge pine tree in a difficult to reach spot at the back of our property.  His team arrived 30 minutes early to remove the tree.  They were efficient and professional.  I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The job included removal of a large maple tree in the front yard and two large pear trees in the back yard. Also transplanted a small dogwood to the front yard where the maple had been and removed some lower limbs off a maple tree in the side yard. (An additional limb was removed upon request for a very reasonable addition to the original quote.)

I don't think any contractor can beat Mike's prices. I would rate price as A++ is available. Mike was very prompt on returning our call, came out in person the same day, and gave detailed quotes. Mike took the time to speak directly to my neighbor about some additional work that was quoted based upon having access to her yard; we did not have that work performed.

The original work day was rained out and the weather was not cooperative, but Mike was good about contacting us to let us know status and the next potential work date. He and his guys showed up on time. It took a second day to complete the job. The ground was quite mushy from all the rain; we do have tracks in the yard from some of the equipment.

They took down the mailbox to make way for some of the equipment without consulting me, and the mailbox was very wobbly after it was replaced. I did not discover this until after the job was completed. While I expect that Mike would have come out if I had called, I went to the trouble of shoring up the mailbox myself. For the amount of service that we got for the price we paid, I still think that we got a good deal, and would use Cost Crusher again.

These guys are fantastic. They are professional, fast, and know exactly what they are doing. They did an awesome job, We were concerned because the pine tree they removed was in a very confined space close to our sun-room, fence and the house next door. We had nothing to worry about, they had the tree down, mulched and shredded in five hours.
They came in at 450 dollars less than our other two estimates and we HIGHLY recommend them.

It was a pleasure to deal with Mike from the start. After researching tree removal on line I called two companies. Cost Crusher was the first to return my call as he was in the area. He came over an looked over the job and gave me a price. I told him that I had one more contractor coming and that I would get back to him. As he started to leave I had second thoughts and asked him when he could do my job. He gave me a time and showed up at the time he gave. He also asked me to be sure to call the other contractor to let him know that I had a contractor coming to do the job. Mike and his crew completed the work in a very timely manner. I added the large Crape Myrtle after the work was started and Mike gave me a very reasonable price. They were careful not to damage anything on my property, laid plywood to prevent damage to my lawn. The only way you could tell they were there was by the ground mulch from the stumps. I will definitely use Cost Crushers again.

Started and completed within agreed timeframe. All work satisfactorily completed. Some equipment was left on premises for an extra day or two. No damage to any other property.

It turned out great. The grass grew over it, and you couldn't even tell it was there. My husband talked to several people, and they had really competitive prices. All of their equipment is no-frills. I think they actually spray paint the name and phone number on the truck. It sounds cheesy, but it's really cute.

Perfect. This is the second time I have used this contractor and I would happily use them again if I needed to remove another tree. They provided an estimate when requested, showed up to do the work exactly when they said they would, and completed exactly what we agreed on. I have no complaints when someone delivers exactly what they promise and I would recommend them heartily to family and friends.

The crew was great! They showed up on time for the estimate and the tree removal. This was an especially difficult job for them as they could not bring heavy equipment into my backyard. They painstakingly removed the trees and dragged the limbs and pieces of trunk on tarps to the curb where their truck shredded them. I had a lovely volunteer dogwood that I was so concerned would be hurt. They took so much care to be sure that NOTHING touched that dogwood. It was fascinating to watch the whole process and to see the care and professionalism of the crew. They were kind and polite and not a single foul word was heard, even during some very difficult moments. I did not have the stumps ground as I wanted them for bases for some concrete statuary I have. I was very impressed with their work and although I have no more trees that need removing I have recommended them to several friends.They are an A+ company in my opinion.

They were fantastic. I am not sure how big the company is, as it was one man and his crew. He was very down-to-earth and honest. His rates were very good. He took care of us very well. They used newer equipment, not hand saws or anything. When it came time do the stump, they had a giant cheese grater-like that they rolled to the backyard and used. They were done in a day. They showed up at 8 o'clock in the morning and stayed until early afternoon and had it completely hauled and everything. Everyone that we dealt with, I was monitoring while the work was being done, was a good, fun-loving group. They took care of business but had a good time doing it. They are very pleasant people. They were very "human"; they didn't just show up to work, they are very personable. Their price was a little bit better than average. We called them back this year to do work, but we decided not to do it.
