Patrick was respectful when he first arrived, listened to what we wanted to do to repair a slow water leak in a misaligned master bath, and gave a fair estimate. When the ordered parts arrived, he expertly routed piping systems and replaced damaged sub-flooring. His drywall crew were neat and efficient, and his electricians were delightful as well. He kept us informed of daily progress and the plans for the next day. He arrived when he said he would, and never left a task unfinished. The new tub and surround are beautiful! He was meticulous in the finish work. He is professional all the way! He was ever the optimist, even when I ordered the wrong fixture for the bathroom sink! Minor set backs were taken in stride. I have another project in mind, and he is first on my list to offer it to.

Workmanship was outstanding. They were very professional, and they suggested alternatives which were very helpful. We were a little disappointed in the construction time. They said the bathroom remodel would take 4-6 weeks. It ended up taking 9 weeks.

We hired Conrad Construction to rehab a small master bathroom. We asked them to tear out an old cast iron tub and replace it with a tiled walk in shower, new tile floor and fixtures. Even though the job took a little longer than we had hoped due to unforeseen floor joist repairs, (which they did at no additional cost) Patrick, Andrew, and their other subs did a great job. We re very happy with the final results and I wouldn t hesitate to use them again.

The crew created a shower out of a closet space to add to my downstairs bathroom (on a slab) for my elderly mother who moved into our home. Conrad Construction is a small and personable company. All of the gentlemen that worked on the project were great! Having gone through the remodeling process three times before (and swearing to never do it again) we found ourselves in need of a contractor when our tiled bathroom floor began to sink down and crack! There was major damage to the floor due to a slow leak that apparently had gone on for years. Since it was obvious to us that we were going to need to hire someone to rip up the subflooring and replace the tile, we thought we would take the opportunity to update the small master bath by removing the fiberglass shower and have it tiled as well. When the owner (Patrick Conrad) came out he recommended removing the soffit and opening up the side wall to expand the shower area. What a huge difference it made! I even ended up going with a wall color that he jokingly “chose”in passing by all of my swatches and it looks great in the room! Upon hiring Patrick, I warned him that I was very much into detail and would expect excellent work. He did not disappoint. Patrick did a lot of the work himself along with Andrew and they were both wonderful! Rob, who did the tile work, dealt with my perfection issues like a champ, as I was laying out travertine tiles in the order I wanted them (yes, I'm that person). As mentioned, we've dealt with remodelers before - both good and bad - and we were dreading the experience. Since I work from home and would be the person to deal with the process until it was done, it was EXTREMELY important to me to not only trust the contractor but to also like them personally, as they would be in and out of my home on a constant basis. In any construction work, things happen, go wrong, or surprise you and you must be able to communicate freely with who you hire. All issues or questions were always dealt with promptly and politely by Patrick and his men. The job took a little longer than planned because of unforeseen circumstances on our part as well so as theirs, but the finished room was well worth it! We ended up replacing everything in the room and I'm glad we did, it turned out beautifully! This persnickety lady would hire them again without hesitation.

We did not actually complete this project. However, the customer service was second to none. Cost and timing just couldn’t be worked out due to my job overseas. Thanks Conrad Construction for patience and continued support.

In spite of unforeseen delays, Conrad Construction did an outstanding jod remodeling/modernizing an OLD small master bathroom in a condo. Conrad handled the entire project with expert design/material recommendations and friendly, very professional workers. A high quality job.

Conrad remodeled 2 bathrooms for us in a 77 year old home. There were many bumps and grinds due to the age of the house, but Patrick and his main contractor Andrew and painting and drywall crew lead by Jennifer were amazing in their diligence to satisfy us. The age of the original construction posed many unforeseen situations but they consistently overcame the obstacles to modernize our bathrooms and a full whole house re-plum with the latest in technology in new piping, all while entering the home with the utmost respect that I work a night shift and was sleeping in the home while they worked. Never once was anyone unprofessional, in fact....they became kind of family. Thank you to all involved!

What was supposed to take "6 weeks at most" took 5 months! I was promised "3/4-inch solid Maple cabinets to be CUSTOM built by the Amish in PA" to accommodate my handicap/wheelchair needs. BUT when it came time to order the cabinets, Patrick wanted to install Builder Grade stock cabinets and "try" to attach separate cabinet doors under the sink because that area needed to be lowered for my wheelchair. When I refused to let him put builder grade stock cabinets in my $20,000 Custom Bathroom, he said that he couldn't afford to invest any more money in my project and he QUIT the work. He promised that he would have someone come back to fix the problems that are wrong with the work that he had already done, but that never happened and now he won't return any of our calls or texts. Right before Patrick quit the work on our house, I also found out that he did NOT obtain any of the required building permits for the work he did on our house. I specifically asked him on 3 different occasions, before and after he started the work, if he got building permits and he assured me that he had taken care of it and I didn't need to worry about them. Now, I have plumbing, electrical and structural improvements on my house that have not been inspected by the city to ensure they were done correctly and if I contact the city to report it, they will likely require us to rip out the new tile shower and the walls around the doors that were widened so they can inspect the work. Then I'll have to pay another contractor to come in and start the project all over again. I also had to order (and pay for) the doors needed to widen the doorways that he agreed to do for an additional $2000. I also had to research and order and pay for all of the exhaust fans, wall controls and the wall heater he agreed to put in my bathroom. My entire house is turned upside down and has been since August 2017...and now we have to find a custom cabinet builder to finish the job. We were unable to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with our family because our house is the only handicap accessible. I never imagined this project would end up being such a total nightmare. Patrick is a smooth talker and makes you believe that he "just wants you to be happy with your bathroom". He lied to us about so many things. I really liked Patrick and I thought he was doing a great job (other than the time frame to complete it), but in the end it turned out that he lied to us about almost every aspect of our renovation. I'm not angry about this because that doesn't solve anything, but I AM very disappointed and sad that what I thought was going to be the best thing we've done in over 7 years, turned out to be the worst thing we've done!

I couldn't have found a better contractor than Conrad Construction. I wanted to have a main bathroom gutted and redesigned, modernized, and made to better suite the needs of a handicapped person. Patrick Conrad was able to accomplish all three goals within my budget. Patrick's ideas are fantastic and he showed great enthusiasm for my special project. Customer Service is excellent. Patrick Conrad really impressed me because he took a very small bathroom and incorporated space into it without really changing the dimensions of the room. He took a very ugly bathroom and made it elegant looking. He took a very unfriendly bathroom and made it very handicapped functional. My house was built in the 1950's. Patrick absorbed the cost of unforeseen problems himself. The price that was quoted on my contract was set firm and stayed that way. No surprises. Patrick's staff, his sub contractors, were awesome. They were knowledgeable, confident in their work, and they too were easy to work with. They all made a great team and they coordinated well with each other. Each person was highly qualified in their area of expertise. I could ask anyone questions or voice concerns, and I got real answers and concerns were addressed to my satisfaction. At no time did I feel lost or discontent with work being done. Always they were professional, and they were a lot of fun at times too. They all have great personalities. All workers cleaned up their mess daily and they hauled off all trash. My house was never trashed. I was informed daily of what was done that day. I was told of any set backs and why. It was explained to me why they did what they did. They explained what the next step would be. They were quick and fast, but at no time were there any corners cut. We had put off having our master bathroom renovated until it was absolutely necessary because I found the very thought of the process daunting. Thank goodness I contacted Home Advisor and they put us in touch with Conrad Construction. When we first met with Patrick Conrad, the company's owner, all I had in mind was a color scheme. Patrick showed us pictures of some of his company's completions and we discussed possibilities for our renovation. He understood immediately what we wanted. His suggestions were a standout among the companies we interviewed and we signed with confidence. To pick the various products needed for the renovation, Patrick brought samples to our home in addition to suggesting whom we should see at the companies with which he conducts business. The process took a little longer than we expected but the result is stunning. Patrick and his workers make sure you are entirely satisfied with their work. We definitely recommend Conrad Construction and plan to use them for future renovations.
