They beat out two other quotes and installed the unit quickly and when they said they would be there. This was the third unit that I have had them install (on different properties). They have always been responsive to my needs.

I had Commonwealth Heating and Cooling replace all of the ducting in the crawlspace of our tri-level home. A previous "bad" duct work job had left us with no working return on the upper or lower levels. Mr. Dunbar assured me that they would install a return duct to each level. We do have a working return on the upper level now, but still nothing on the lower level.
I've spoken with him several times about completing the job and at was told that there was no way to get a return to the lower level. After presenting him with a solution, he said he would have his mechanic scheduled to take care of it. That was over a month ago and I'm now looking for someone else to finish the job.
The work that was completed gets a "B" from me. Price was comparable to other bids.
They also started the job on a Friday and left us with no AC over a very warm weekend.
Mr. Dunbar was very fond of saying how much he'd like to get my business. He got it once, but never again.

Initial inspection was performed promptly and outside of the normal service hours which was helpful for me (and my tenant since I had to do manage the process remotely).  Commonwealth was my second opinion provider so I was already fairly comfortable that I had a replacement on my hands.  The sales technician was helpful, discussed the situation and process thoroughly and was able to make a speedy install.  I was not able to be present for the install but the team did a professional job and had no incident.  The units are working well and I have a service agreement with them.  I am excited to have found commonwealth for my home.
