CI Cabinetry helped us remodel our kitchen. Jimmy, the owner, was great to work with. We told him what we wanted to do and he came up with a 3-D floor plan which was key in helping us fine tune our plan. He was very helpful, communicative and professional. His workers were also great to work with and we were glad to have them in our home. We could not be happier with the finished project. We are starting on remodeling our master bathroom and updating the vanity in one of our other bathrooms. It was an easy decision to go through CI Cabinetry again for our bathroom cabinet needs.

This review is for work completed ~3 months ago and is cross posted with Google. We wanted to have a set of built-in bookcase shelves installed in the living room. After discussing the project with multiple contractors we selected CI Cabinetry. The professionalism and friendliness of the owner, Jimmy, gave us great confidence in his ability to carry out the project. Jimmy did an excellent job of converting our ideas into a finished design. He used quality products from Bishop Cabinets in the design. His initial estimate and final pricing were excellant and spot on. I'm really picky about fit & finish and Jimmy built a beautiful set of bookcases. There were a couple of simple finish items that he could have implemented to make this a 5* project. In Jimmy's defense, I didn't bring these items to his attention. They are not callback or warranty type issues. My 4* rating is really more like 4.75. Overall, I highly recommend Jimmy for your similar project. You won't be disappointed.

What a great company from beginning to end. Contacted CI Cabinetry, along with several others, and based upon Jimmy's (the Owners) demeanor and professionalism, decided to go with them. They were not the cheapest, but I felt they would actually do what they said, and I was right. Jimmy actually picked out the cabinets for me, based upon what he saw already installed in my home, and gave me honest input into what he thought would and would not work - not based on upselling. His wife, Jenny, is the administrator, who makes sure schedules are kept and customers are indeed satisfied. Jenny was on top of every question or issue that I had. Jimmy's part in my bathroom project was the cabinets. He also steered me to other professionals for the countertop and plumbing work. He also recommended Southside Granite for my countertop, (another small company) that was also great. Although my project was very small and simple, he and his team, Brandon, gave 100%. He also offered suggestions for another small project that I will complete on my own - no money in it for him, unless I can't do it myself. I will not hesitate to call him back! Jimmy and Jenny were so positive and joyful that it was actually a pleasure working with them. I would highly recommend CI Cabinetry. No scheduling frustrations, no quality of work frustrations, no quality of product frustrations. No concerns whatsoever- if you want a professional experience - this is the crew!

Jimmy did an awesome job at our kitchen! we interviewed multiple contractors and companies, and decided to go with Jimmy based on his reviews here. He was very honest about what would work and what would look good, helping us on the design (and he was very patience when we made multiple requests and changes!). He works with a specific team of contractors (electrical, plumber and countertop) and they were also fantastic, all very professional and did a great job as well. I already have other projects in mind for the future and will definitely hire Jimmy!

Started with renderings and a time schedule. Estimated 3 weeks and full project was completed 3 weeks and 1 day. Project was right on time and communication was essential throughout the process. The owner Jimmy was my one stop shop, he coordinated all the contractors and worked around our busy schedule. Cabinets were pricy as we selected a slightly higher end but were extremely happy with the selection he showed us initially to make our decision. No pressure, easy transactions. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with our kitchen remodel with Jimmy and Jenny of CI Cabinetry. Jimmy created a design based on my feedback and wish list and the design was spot on to what I wanted from the start. From there, Jimmy not only installed our cabinets but also connected me to excellent companies to do the electrical, plumbing, counter tops and backsplash. Jimmy is both professional and friendly and our work was done on the exact timeline he gave me at the beginning of the project. The work itself is beautiful - he custom designed several features for us - including installation of a custom farmhouse sink cabinet and custom refrigerator cabinet. It was so nice to work with someone who obviously has a passion for providing excellent work and a top customer service experience. They were excellent to work with. I wanted a clean modern beach house look. They helped me design my dream kitchen and kept me on budget and on time. They were able to get my cabinets in within the two weeks they promised. I went with stock cabinets due to my timeline but they had a huge variety and selection at all price points. Even their stock cabinets have soft close drawers, metal pulls, plywood boxes, etc. They even installed my hickory butcher block countertop and gave me so much more storage. I love walking into my kitchen each day! I uploaded the before and after photos. It's like night and day.

Excellent results. Jimmy is great to work with. Cabinets are outstanding. His recommended plumber, electician, and granite guys are all top notch. Jimmy's cabinet design recommendations and mock ups were extremely helpful. Spent a lot of time going over options and layouts. Was accessible after job for minor touchup work.

We had major water damage in our kitchen due to two cracks in our main drain pipe.  We ended up having to tear out all the bottom cabinets, part of the walls and floors, etc.  We met w/ Jimmy and told him that we wanted to completely redo our kitchen, shifting a bunch of stuff around, and adding an island as well.  We  had a specific budget to work with since our insurance was covering most of it, and he worked with us on a ton of options to get us what we needed.  He was very patient with us while we fought it out with the insurance company as well.
The week he was scheduled to install the cabinets, his help was out sick, so he ended up putting them all in by himself.  The following week he came in and installed the countertops as well.  The end result was awesome.  Very happy with his work!

Very well. Jimmy at CI Cabinetry Inc. was very professional and went out of his way to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. He was quick to respond to our phone calls and answer our questions. Additionally, all of the subcontractors (granite, plumbing, electrical and dry wall companies) that he recommended were very professional, on time and did a great job for us! We are very happy with our new kitchen!

The process went great! Jimmy was such a delight to work with. Renovating can be stressful but Jimmy was with us every step of the way, reassuring us, and his upbeat, fun attitude made it a great experience for us. He was patient with us and drew up many different possibly floor plans before we got started. He is excellent at what he does and all of his pricing and time-frames were on point. He shows great attention to detail and his customer service is impeccable. We highly recommend Jimmy Baart and CI Cabinetry.

. Jimmy and his mate, Richard Stiles of Southside Granite, arrived around 9:30 on Wednesday 6 April 2016. By noon, they had safely removed the quartz countertops and backsplashes and all existing cabinets. After a short break for lunch, they began installing the new cabinets. By 6:30, all the new cabinets were installed.  On Thursday, 7 April, Richard Stiles arrived with a couple of helpers and installed the salvaged quartz countertops and backsplashes, completing  the work around 4 pm.  On Friday, the plumber, Mike Boggs came and reinstalled the sink plumbing, and we were back in our new kitchen!  We can not say enough about the professionalism of Jimmy Baart and his crew.  they were respectful of our home, they cleaned up  after themselves and did not leave until we were completely satisfied. We chose this contractor because he was open and honest and worked with us to find the perfect cabinets and the right price.  He was the only one of the ones we got quotes from that guarantted that they could salvage our quartz counetrtops and backsplashes, and he delivered, saving us a lot on our remodel.

Jimmy Bart, the owner, was there for the demolition, installation, and checked on all the other contractors as well. He recommended wonderful contractors. I would use all of them again. Richard Stiles, Southside Granite VA, not only helped pick out the right granite but was there for the cabinet demolition and installation. Kurt, Versa-Tile, did an awesome job on the backsplash. Mike Maloney, the electrician was great as well. All of these guys I would use again.

   I can't say enough great comments about Jimmy Baart and his company CI Cabinetry. He started on our renovation over a year ago and it is amazing and I feel bad it has taken me this long to write a review.
   First of all I had several estimates from four different companies. Jimmy was very patient with me and guided me to make the right decisions. I chose him because of his product, knowledge, skills and talent. He his very conscientious and reliable. He was very thorough and explained everything each step of the way. I'm not sure how many times I met him at his office to decide the wood type ,color,type of cabinets ,floor plans ,etc. Yet he never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. He is also very personable and easy to work with.It is always a pleasure working with someone you like and feel comfortable with, especially on a big project like a kitchen remodel. 
   I also liked that he surrounds himself with the best people. Not only are the contractors he works with truly talented they are all lifelong  friends of Jimmy so they work well together and all respect each other and the home owner. As a woman I felt very at ease being around all of them. That is very important to trust the people working on your home.This made my husband and I feel very comfortable. In fact we rented a place at the beach for a week during the demolition.
   Jimmy was hands on . He was there every day doing the work himself or supervising. I really liked that because not all contractors are the ones that do the work.
   Jimmy use to make cabinets with his father so he knows the ins and outs of the trade. He knows exactly what to do to make things fit and conform to your kitchen. Since I did not change the foot print of my kitchen some things were challenging.  He worked his magic and created a custom look with pre made cabinets. He made my existing hardwood trim match seamlessly with the new trim. He is definitely an artist in his trade and each kitchen is his masterpiece.
   I love my new kitchen and he also helped design and installed a 12 foot by 7 foot wall unit (open shelving , storage cabinets, drawers, and office desk  with granite top in our living room/office. iI is just what I wanted it to be. I can honestly say after having it completed almost a year, there is nothing I would change about it.  I owe it all to Jimmy Baart ,Richard Stiles (SouthSide Granite), Mike Maloney of Maloney Electric.and Steve Boggs the plumber.

We contacted CI Cabinetry to provide an estimate to replace the existing kitchen cabinets. Owner Jimmy Baart came over to the house to look at the existing kitchen and obtain some initial measurements. We provided Jimmy with what we were looking for in the new cabinets and Jimmy discussed possible concepts. Jimmy comes from a family of cabinet makers and draws on a wealth of experience. He suggested many possible functional designs that were super and that we would never have thought of. Jimmy took all of the ideas and came up with a computer generated design with layout plans/pictures of the proposed completed kitchen. We loved the proposed design and decided to go forward with the project. CI Cabintery provided names of contractors that we could use for the electrical, plumbing, tile and drywall work. We decided to use these contractors and were very pleased with their work.
Jimmy Baart and crew removed the existing cabinets, installed the new cabinets with trim. The completed installation is beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. Jimmy Baart is a true professional who does superb work, is very innovative and takes pride in his work. He goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. Jimmy was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely recommend CI Cabinetry to our friends.

AWESOME.  That's the only way to describe our experience with Jimmy & Jenny at CI Cabinetry.  First, they are the nicest and most patient people we've ever worked with.  Second, they do amazing work.  We really shopped around before we chose CI Cabinetry, and are so happy that we found them.  We contacted them in November looking to gut the kitchen of our newly purchased house.  They responded quickly to our email, and Jimmy came to the house to take a look.  He took a few measurements and within a day or two he emailed an amazing graphic design for our kitchen.   We ended up getting two other estimates on cabinets, and Jimmy won the bid by far.  It took us a few months to settle into our new house, and when were ready to renovate the kitchen, Jimmy and his team were incredibly accomodating with our busy schedule.  Jimmy was also able to provide recommendations on tile (Kurt from Versa-tile), countertops (Richard Stiles), an electrician , plumber (Mike Mahoney) (Steven Boggs), and duct work.  All have turned out to be excellent recommendations.  
I can't say enough about CI Cabinetry.  They worked within our budget, and the work exceeded our expectations.  I highly, highly recommend CI Cabinetry.

The cabinets came in when we were told they would be delivered. They were installed in a timely manner...only took two days! The cabinets are absolutely gorgeous!!! Jimmy is great with addressing and fixing any issues that we had! Would highly recommend CI Cabinetry!!!

We contacted and met with Jimmy and discussed our wants, needs and budget limitations. Jimmy made great suggestions, drew up plans and assured us we would be pleased. The insallation is now complete, and he was right. Not only are we satisfied with the final product, but also very impressed with Jimmy's attention to detail and craftsmanship.

I used Jimmy for a bathroom vanity several months back and was pleased with his service so I decided to use him when we replaced our kitchen cabinets.  He had several great ideas about changing the layout of our cabinets that allowed us to maximize space and create better flow around the kitchen. He gave us a competitive price and emailed us a 3D rendering of our future kitchen.  The craftsmanship of the final product was outstanding.  Jimmy is easy to get hold of and kept us up to date as things proceeded.  We mentioned to Jimmy that one of the cabinet doors had a slight blemish and he replaced it with no questions asked.  I think this is a great owner operated company that delivers an awesome product.

CI arrived with Get-It-Done contracting on time.  CI's portion of the estimate took a few days for my wife to pick from several cabinet styles, end caps and moldings as well as review the kitchen design.  My wife was very impressed with CI's approach because she was asked what she cooked, how she cooked, and then  CI  recommended several options/installation features including a mobile island to accommodate my wife's mobility issues and size (short). Several contractors did not do this.  We accepted CI's recommendations in full. 

Work went as planned.  CI was professional, safe and prompt and well coordinated with Get-It-Done.  The cabinets are high quality as promised and the options selected have proven to be spot on.  We would not have been happy without them..  The molding and finish work Is awesome.  The living room cabinets (built-ins) match the kitchen and frame a fireplace.  Using the same cabinet design and countertop material for the living room was a great idea and saved costs plus made a great open space look!  The kitchen is very functional.  Mobile island is a boon.  The kitchen and built-ins get positive comments by everyone who sees them.

Bottom line: Professional and courteous, super price and value, great design, quality product,  great look, superb workmanship completed on time.   Our intent is to use CI in the future and recommend CI at every opportunity.
