"Look at my other reviews. She never told me she was a contractor with Angie Lead. I had to google her. She trying to make me look bad. Begged me for the cheapest price, and wanted me to take a picture of every step I was doing so she could use the technique for her business Tai Cruz is on this site, Angie Leads as HomeLab Consultants: https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.HomeLabConsultantsLLC.114344135.html Cruz Ta FB page where you'll see her trying to branch into the paint business as a contractor: https://www.facebook.com/HomeLabs2021 What happened is she got a job staining furniture but she doesn't know anything about painting as you will see in her pictures on FB. Look at the brush marks on the furniture in the 3rd and 4th pictures. She doesn't know the difference between semi-gloss and gloss. Look at the brush. Look at her work beside a person that paints. And then look at mines with the same person: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=Bucephalus.Production&set=a.565023122359787 1. she bought the cheapest stain. it was a stain and polyurethane in 1. it cost $12.00.. and the Polyurethane was semigloss. she doesn't know the difference between semi-gloss and gloss. I took a whole week and put it all there for her. Took no other customers. She felt nervous... look at my other reviews. she is the only one feeling this way. I tried every angle to give her the very best for a week. She bought the CHEAPEST product and wanted the VERY best. When she came to me she was PEELING the stain from the furniture. all the way to the very end I was trying to work with her. She left complaining about drips that could be sanded and then touched up with polyurethane. She wanted pictures of every step I made to know what I was doing so she could do it to all of the furniture she was trying to push onto me because she could not do it correctly. brush strokes in the furniture as you see in her pictures. but as I was d it I was showing her how it should be done, and she tried making it seem as if what I told her should be done was her idea... She wanted me to buy stuff, I told her to buy it and I will pick it up.. she did want to do that. She wanted me to pay for stuff when I knew she would never be satisfied and wouldn't pay me back..so I told her to purchase it and I will pick it up. so she got mad, so I said you're tripping in a text and she was like wow ' =/ by far she is not weak, she's from New York, Long Island. Not meek at all. girly but takes kindness as a weakness."
"Trouble spots is plastic chalk for frame that would not take paint. She got her whole door frame replaced by another contractor. I had to get a special bonding paint primer to cover it and then place the finish coat that the customer purchased for the job. All paint was supplied by the customer. It was not a brand I usually used or preferred, like Behr Marquee, Duration, or Emerald; it was Lowe's Defense Exterior, but I put 3 coats of it on the surface and still did touch-ups that I pointed out to the customer while painting in the winter (12/30/22), when the temperature has to be 50 degrees. I keep painting until the customer is happy with the results and give 30-day guarantees; in this case, because of the weather, I gave her 90 days. The only thing she has to pay for is the paint or supplies. Thank you so much for the opportunity."
