This work was done while I was deployed. The a/c worked until about December when I had to have a capacitor replaced. However, during a crawl space inspection, the workers found my dryer vent disconnected. I contacted this company since they invoiced me that they fixed it. I got a voicemail asking about it, which also said that they couldn't be sure if someone else had dislodged it. I called them back and we discussed the issue. I talked to the person who remembered the original job and he said that he fixed it as "a courtesy but couldn't do it right because of the amount of exposed duct". He then told me what he would have to do to do it right.

Bottom live is that it should have been done right the first time or advised what needed to be done to do it right. Shoddy work has been identified and my dryer has been blowing exhaust into my crawl space for an unknown time.

I did give them the opportunity to come fix it. We discussed price and set up an 0800 appointment for a Monday. They were a no-show. I called the office when it opened and they said they would get in touch with the worker and call me back. I have heard nothing since.

Had hear about Baines from a neighbor.  Called them to check my gas vent pipe as I was concerned it was corroded and might be leaking.  They came out and determined that the false "chimney was somewhat corroded but the vent pipe was in good and serviceable condition and though I might consider replacing the false chimney ( which should be installed by a roofer) every thing else was okay.
They did offer to do a tune-up on the AC unit at a discounted price since they were already there.  I agreed and they also performed this service, since I didn't know the last time it had been done ( had recently inherited the house from an elderly relative). Minor adjustment were needed and include in the cost of the work.
 I was very happy with their candor and honesty.  I'll be calling them when I need heating or air conditionining work.
