They arrived on time, did the work, we will use again. Also we have used B & R for many years without any negative incident.

Needed to fix or replace the water level knob and piece of metal it is attached to it. The techs came out on time, saw the problem and started to investigate if there were any other problems. I left to go to the bathroom for a couple minutes. When I returned a few minutes later, they had left without letting me know what was going on. I presumed they were going to get the part and be right back. After an
hour I called the business and found out that they had left immediately and left me a note. I found the note. It was a business card with the words "will order part". Nothing else! A day later I received a call from the company telling me the cost for the knob and labor would be $200.00. The part cost 60 and all else was labor. I thought they were kidding! I told them that the cost of the washer was only $500.00 making their quote absurd. They understood and told me that was the cost of doing business now days. I cancelled the order and they are charging me $59.00 for 5 minutes of writing down the make of the washer. That is outrageous. Lost my job 3 weeks ago and am on unemployment. This company is totally out of whack with what they are charging for no work performed. I will not be using
them again and hope everyone else thinks carefully about using them for any future work.
After Angie's list refunded my $50 for 1 hr service from B & R, B & R sent me their bill for coming out to my place. It was an additional $59.00. So, B & R were charging me a total of $250.00 to replace a plastic water level value which they did not order yet. But brand new washing machines only cost $300.00. This does not seem fair and balanced and why I recommend no one use this company.

"Mr. [Member name] called for a service call on his washing machine. When the tech arrived, he left them, and now we know he went to the bathroom. The Tech checked out the washer, wrote down the model number and part needed. The customer never reappeared, the Tech left a note and went onto his next call. The customer called the office, was told they would call him with estimate after checking on part needed. He was not upset. He still has not paid service call and denied the repair. Not sure what was going on with this customer?!"

They are really good. They had to replace the circuit/computer board. They are very experienced. They were prompt and gave me an estimate of what they would need to do. And, we would use them again.

Very well-- have used Band R for years. Not the cheapest service up front, but once they take on a job, they complete it fairly and efficiently, so that in the end it is very cost effective.

Referred by home warranty for these "ya-hoos." The technician came in my door right out the gate complaining about my washing machine. He hadn't not even looked at it. Stating that it was a piece of crap, and that since it was digital that I would continue to have problems. I stated to Eddy that all of the washing machines now are digital. I was given by them the infamous 2hr window, with him showing up 10mins before it was up. I had to call them to make sure someone was still coming. They immediately went into assume that a note has been left on my door! At any rate, Eddy stayed maybe a total of 25 mins. Came with only a yellow tool box and a power drill. He pulled the "schematic" of from my machine which basically told him the same "nothing" my manual told me about the error code showing. He "re-sat" some wires and left. I ran my machine 2hrs later with the same error code showing still. I called the warranty company to let them know that Band R needed to come back out. I was actually really nice about it, after consulting with several people who believed that Eddy had done absolutely nothing. Now, you know it's bad when the warranty company states that it sounded as though the contractor did nothing. That's pretty bad. Skip over Band R when you're looking though Angie's List or the phone book. It will save you at least 25 mins and a 2hr window's worth of time.

We called Band R Appliance Service after having another company work on it three times. They came out very promptly and worked on it right in our home. They replaced the transformer and we have not had any problems with it since. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They explained everything very well and did an excellent job.

B and R is a very reliable company; they have done great work for me in the past. I am just glad they were able to fix it. They were very punctual, and came when they said they would. The man was great and very professional. I believe he was as professional as they come. Everything was explained to me step by step. I have not had a problem with my refrigerator since.
