the only thing that seemed to go right was the tenacity of the repair technician (Billy). repair evolution was protracted due to material availability. Billy appeared for first visit ready to work, but did not have the electronic modules in hand. Parts placed on order after consulting with manufacturer rep. After two more rounds and further consultation with the manufacturer the fault was determined to be a jumper wire. I fix the blame for the multiple iterations of troubleshooting on limited or poor documentation and material availability.

My dishwasher started leaking when in use. I called the manufacturer and was put in touch with AT YOUR DOOR APPLIANCE SERVICES as one of the local companies that could do the repair. When made the first appointment over the phone I was asked about the model number, serial number, brand and date of purchase. I provided all the info needed and inquired about the warranty. I was told that my appliance is still covered and I will not be responsible for any copays or fees. At the day of the appointment the technician showed up and within 2 minutes determined that my dishwasher is too old (3 years) just by looking at the serial number and model number, and is not covered. So he demanded I pay him $80 for just coming out regardless if he looks at it or not. At that point I told him about my phone conversation with their office and how I was told my dishwasher is still under warranty. The technician simply said that the people at the office are not technicians and they don't know what they are talking about. It sounded like I am being scammed but I needed my dishwasher fixed so I told him to proceed with the appointment even though I know this dishwasher was purchased in May, just 6 months ago. Later I also verified that by looking it up in the store, the dishwasher is still on sale. The technician informed me that he needs to replace the hinges of the door and some of the gaskets but does not have the parts. Considering that I made the appointment a few days in advance, and I provided serial number and model number along with the issue (door leaking) I expected that this technical will show up prepared. He quoted $250 for the repair and told me to give the office a call to schedule for the next appointment if I decide to proceed with the repair. I decided to call Frigidaire again to double check on the warranty and they confirmed that my dishwasher is still covered. I have been trying to get in touch with "at your door appliance service" for over a week now to get my money back and get this dishwasher fixed since it is still under full warranty. I have called once a day every day for the last week. The phone rings and goes to voice mail. I have left numerous voice messages with my name and number asking for a call back. Still haven't heard from them. I've been washing dishes by hand for almost two weeks now. Beyond frustrated with this company. It's a joke. If you need your appliance fixed look somewhere else.

Nothing was done! The technician came out to diagnose the problem and then we did not hear from them for a week. (Paid for this service.) After several phone calls during working hours and leaving messages a call was finally returned - It took two weeks! A part was "back ordered" and did not come in for 3 weeks. Then the owner came out and discovered the tech. had misdiagnosed the problem and that was not the part needed. It was two more weeks of not hearing from them with phone messages left. Extremely bad customer service.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, Shawn had replaced the fan on our 9 year old Whirlpool Gladiator Freezerator. While he was here he also took a look at the ice dispenser on our kitchen frigerator. He explained that the ice dispenser needed to be replaced. Before he left he assured me he would order the needed part that following Monday. He returned as scheduled Sept. 30, 2014 to install the new part. I found my service and experience with At Your Door Appliance Service to be trustworthy, fair and outstanding. I highly recommend using this company for any of your appliance service needs.

From the first phone call to the Handshake goodbye, This company was a pleasure to work with. It was warranty work, so I can't comment on price. The repairman arrived on time and called a half hour before to let me know he was on his way. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and was very friendly. I would definitely use this company for any of my appliance issues.

My refrigerator was leaking and making a strange noise. I called At Your Door and was able to get an appointment right away. The repairman was right on time, and he diagnosed the problem quickly. The repair was completed at the first visit as he had all materials and parts needed on his truck. I was totally please with this company. Everything was left very clean, and all water that had been leaking was mopped up. I will definitely use this company again.

Great experience right from the beginning. Matthew at the office was very friendly and helpful. Shaun, the owner and technician that fixed our dryer was punctual, friendly, super honest and didn't leave until my dryer was perfect! He called when he was on his way to our house, which I like because I have 2 big dogs that I needed to put in a bedroom before he got to our house. He figured out what the problem was quickly and didn't quit until the dryer was like brand new again. He answered all of my questions and even offered me tips on using my dryer and washer. I would definitely call them again, no doubt! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an appliance fixed. Great, great service!!! Thank you AYDAS!!! :)

The technician's initial visit was on 11/23/2013. From meeting him at the door, he was very courteous and professional, using shoe covers upon entering the house. He took care not to disrupt or make additional clutter during his assessment of the appliance problems. Unfortunately, the repairs needed a higher level of service to include upgraded parts, which he did not have during this visit.
The second visit occurred on Saturday, 12/22/2013, a special arrangement approved by the company's owner (service calls under warranty aren't usually performed on the weekend). Note the delay between calls had to do with my scheduling limitations, not the company. The same technician arrived, and just as before, was very courteous and professional. A second technician arrived about 30 minutes later to assist with the repairs.
Regardless of being under warranty, they did not and quot;cheap outand quot; the repairs. He provided receipts detailing the complexity of the job. To date (4 months later), both appliances are working without incident.

I called for service on my Frigidaire refrigerator. We have an extended service contract and this repair and service call was under contract. Therefore there was no additional cost to us.
I called last week after my ice maker stopped working. The woman who took my call first explained that they did not have any service technicians working that week and wanted to know if I wanted to continue the phone call. She was able to schedule an appointment for me the Monday before Thanksgiving. She carefully explained the details of what I needed for service under our service contract. I appreciated her up front information.
On the day of service, Shawn called that morning and told me to expect him between 3:00 and 5:30 that afternoon. He arrived around 3:00 and diagnosed the problem immediately. He then patiently explained what the problem was and how to prevent it in the future. He answered all the questions that I asked him. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.

This company is one of the recommended companies for Frigidaire appliance repair, and they appear to get a good deal of business from this fact. This may result in no incentive to consider customer service as part of their business model. The worst part of their service is at the end of this review, although the entire experience was unsatisfactory.
We originally called and had to leave a message because no one was in the office. We then got a call back several days later. They were busy and could not come for almost a week (not a problem in itself) but then they would not give a time window for the repair until the morning of the day in question, when they call and give you a 3-4 hour window. This results in you having to reserve the entire day for the repair. They did show up within the promised time, once they called.
As with most of these companies, this company requires a service payment no matter the time or result of the service call ($79), which is credited towards any eventual repair they make if you hire them.
Our repair consisted of replacing the rubber ring inside the door of the clothes washer and repairing the door latch and overall door functionality because we had had problems closing it. The final total for this repair was $293. This seems quite high given that buying this washer new would only be $5-600 and did not seem to be expensive parts involved.
**The biggest complaint is that the door latch still did not work well and broke completely in less than a week. When we called
them back, they said that it would be an additional service charge to come look at the door latch problem, which they had already supposedly fixed, and an additional repair charge to fix it again.
To me this represents a typical bait and switch scheme and I do not believe this company is trustworthy. If they had simply agreed to come repair the door latch again and stand behind their work, then the other problems would have been much less of an issue. The only reason they do not get an 'F' rating is because the new rubber ring has not leaked again yet.
Please do not give this company further business; there must be better options out there!
