First call 2/28 prompt reply and came out same day. After that.... dishwasher only ran once ... numerous calls and a couple trips back to replace an electronic board only for the machine to keep failing. By today I have asked for a refund - 2 months later and am only receiving $128 of the $263 paid. Waste of time and money and I still need a new dishwasher.

I called Appliance Wizards and they were able to schedule an appointment that fit my schedule and gave me a three hour window on the day of my appointment. The service technician called to let me know that they would be arriving at my home within approximately a half hour. The technician was able to diagnose and repair the problem within an hour of arrival. The person setting up the phone call and the technician were courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. Appliance Wizards provides an excellent service and I would not hestiate to use them again.

During this month-long fiasco, not once did the owner/manager/call-taker/dispatcher (yeah, it's a shoestring operation) ever call to acknowledge a delay.  Not once, after thirty days and numerous failed promises, did the word "sorry" ever pass her lips -- inexcusable disregard for the customer.

Definitely not recommended.

I called to make an appointment and got one the following day-great availability.  I gave my dryer model # at the time I made the appt.  My actual technican was very nice, professional and punctual.  He had to visit three times to repair a simple heating element due not having the right part stocked on his truck the 1st or 2nd visits and the third was delayed because the warehouse didn't have the part yet.  Very disappointing that waiting for a part was the implied delay in repair.  Also not happy with scheduling on 2nd & 3rd appt--2nd appt I got a call saying they didn't have the part 15min after the service technican was supposed to have arrived--not good.   Overall, Appliance Wizard did complete my repair but it took alot of waiting around, rescheduling of appointments and I feel I could have gotten it done faster by another provider.

I phoned Appliance Wizards after being fooled by another repair company.  Based on that experience, and the fact that I'd wasted 3 days on the other company, I ordered the part online and had it shipped to myself so I would be certain that I wouldn't be left waiting for parts when Appliance Wizards came.  I phoned late Monday afternoon and was given a Tuesday appointment.  True to her word, the scheduler phoned before 9 to set a time for the appointment.  I told her that I was waiting for the part by Fedex and asked for a later appointment.  I phoned back when the part arrived and the technician was at my house to install it within the hour!  They were very apologetic in that they could not warranty the part that I had purchased on  my own, but I felt that this was perfectly reasonable.  I would call them again without hesitation!

I liked their service. I had asked them to also get me a filter for the refrigerator and I gave them the model numbers and told them that I would install it. They did 2 of the 3 things but they didn't do the filter so I still have to do it. It is more cost effective for me to do it but I told them over the phone to do that and they didn't bring the part. They told me to go to a local home improvement store. What they did was fine but they didn't complete everything I asked. I had crosschecked their price with other companies and their price was fair. I watched the guy do the work because I wanted to know how to do it and he knew what he was doing. I would use them again but if I ask them to do A, B and C, I want them to do all of the things.

After searching Angie's List for appliance repair companies, I found two candidates close to my home. I sent emails to both companies completely detailing the problems with each appliance. I never heard back from the one company but then next day I received an email and a phone call from Appliance Wizards. I was able to schedule an appointment and a service technician arrived to do an estimate within 36 hours after my initial request. The technician arrived at the scheduled time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with our washing machine - broken shock absorbers. After contacting his parts department, the tech provided me with a estimate for the repair (time and parts cost). This estimate was agreeable so the tech ordered the replacement parts and we set up a time for him to return and install said parts. The Washer repair went pretty smoothly. The dryer repair did go so well. After looking at the dryer for a few minutes, the tech believed that my problem was because of a clogged exhaust vent. The dryer keeps shutting off and I get two different error codes displayed on the front panel. The tech seemed to think the exhaust was clogged. I am very familiar with my dryer as we use it every week and I did not believe it was the exhaust vent. I told the technician that I believed the dryer needed to either have the heat/moisture sensor or main circuit board replaced. The technician suggested I blow out the exhaust using a leaf blower, he also implied that my problem could be that my exhaust pipe may be installed incorrectly in the wall and therefore causing the dryer to 'think' it has reduced airflow. I could not see how this would be the case as we bought the dryer new when our house was built in 2004. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I tried the leaf blower idea. When I disconnected the exhaust hose, I did NOT notice any unusual buildup of lint - in the dryer itself or in the exhaust duct work. Luckily I am failry handy and was able to do this, but I kept thinking about what would a person do if they were not able to perform this task? I could not see my wife disconnecting the exhaust hose, vacuuming out the back of the dryer and using the leaf blower to 'flush' out the exhaust duct. Further, why am I doing this work when I was paying for service and diagnosis of this appliance? When the tech returned to replace the shock absorbers in the washer we again discussed the need to repair the dryer. The tech tried the dryer for about 5mins and of course no error codes - it had not been used for about a week. Since the tech did not bring any parts there was nothing he could do. At that point I was done with this Appliance Wizards. I had already taken two days off work to have my appliances repaired and I am now looking at a third day. I will be trying a different service company in the hopes of getting better results.

They were prompt, courteous, and communicated with us every step of the way. Also cleaned and tested the ice machine before they brought it back to make sure it was in working condition. Has been working fine since.

The owner and a technician showed up on time the day of the appointment, and all repairs that did not require ordering parts were completed within an hour. The remaining work was finished several days later, as soon as the ordered parts arrived. I was impressed with their knowledge and professionalism and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

We contacted Appliance Wizards on a Friday and they came out on Saturday (we stated it wasn't an emergency and they didn't charge us a surcharge). It was determined that the ice maker needed to be repaired. They stated it would be either Monday or Tuesday before they could install the new part since they didn't carry that maker. They came on Tuesday, took out the old maker and installed the new one. It works like a charm. In both visits, they called at about 9:00a.m. of their day of their visit and gave us a two hour window of when they would be here. They were here within that window. Both visits took about 1/2 each.

This dryer had been making increasingly disturbing noises and finally began to run hot late one night. We made a call to Appliance Wizards and they came out the next day. The technician worked almost an hour to diagnose the problem and only charged the minimum service call fee which we had been informed about at the time the appointment was made. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and knowledgeable.

Parts had to be ordered and we were called when they were in and offered a same day appointment to finish the work. The cost for the whole job was LESS than we'd been quoted for just the tubing replacement (which had been predicted to be required in the future when previously repaired by $3@r$

They came out and fixed the problem very quickly. They were the only people that answered my call and said they will come out to fix the problem. Their price was reasonable and they did a very good job. I would grade them high on all categories.

He came (Allen), listened, took the washer apart, found a small tooth of a comb, cleaned up, listened some more & put the washer back. Listened to the cycles were finished. We talked about the problem, he had suggestions. Then he left. He was pleasant, respectful, friendly & courteous. I'd use them again.

Ray was on time, courteous, business like, but pleasant. Unworkable part was left for me, which I appreciated. Job was left very neat. Very satisfied with company and plumber I considered the cost reasonable.

Ray came in the time frame described, was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and worked neatly and carefully. The parts were replaced and everything seemed fine. I used the machine later that day, and found that the dryer vent hose had come undone during the time he was working and moving the machine. I called, and he did come back (after one missed appointment) to check the way my husband had attached the hose and to move the machine back into its corner. I was very pleased with the whole process.

It went well. I called on a Friday and they scheduled a Saturday visit. Said between noon and 3 and they would call in advance. Called at 11:30 and arrived by noon. Repairman was personable and worked quickly. The only issue I had was that a dirty dryer hose was the cause of the problem and he did not offer to replace the hose...even at my prompting. Wasn't sure if he couldn't or wouldn't.

Gary called me within an hour of my request for service. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and called the distribution center for the required part. The next morning he called me and reported he had the part and was ready to install it. He was at my house within an hour and installed the new part and tested the appliance within 30 minutes. The charge for this professional service was exactly what he told me over the phone before the service.
