They just got started. They are waiting for the weather to clear up. The sprayed the yard with weed killer and so they have to wait for 7 days or so. For the flower beds, I would give them an A. I am using them all the time.

Lori and her team did a great job. We got three estimates for the work, and hers was best. They complete the work in the week that we scheduled it. They removed weeds, replanted some perennials, revised drainage near the street, and ran a drain line for the dehumidifier output. Plus a lot of mulch, several cubic yards since there is no lawn. Very courteous and pleasant to work with, lot of good ideas for what we can do about some problem plants. Highly recommended.

I have been using An Eye For Nature for several years, when it first spoke with Lori I explained that I was very particular about how my grass was cut. She assured me that they could cut it the way I liked and I would be satisisfied. They have not disappointed! In the beginning there was a "learning curve". I did expect that, however the crew leader (who is very polite and knowledgeable) learned quickly. The longer they work in my yard the better they get!

Lori is the best! She took an ugly duckling of a yard and turned it into a swan! We love what she came up with for our landscape.

I expected mow, blow, trim and go. When Lori first came by to look at the property and give an estimate, she also made suggestions based on her artistic and landscaping talents. I arrived home twenty minutes ago and am in utter awe of the work completed and the improvement in appearance of both front and back yards. They actually transplanted some of my existing foliage and plants, created spaces for mulch placement, and on and on. If you are considering a lawn service and don't give Lori and her crew an opportunity to earn your business, you are missing a huge opportunity. If you are using someone else, you should consider switching.

Lori is a true horticulturist and professional. She was responsive to my initial phone call, prompt with a visit and email estimate within 2 days. Work was started and completed within 10 days. I cannot say enough about her knowledge and genuine love of plants. She never made me feel bad that the yard and garden had been neglected since my husband died. She praised his choices of plant material and assured me that we could keep up the garden with a little TLC.
As an aside, Lori and her crew were very sensitve to my Asperger's grandson who lives with me and does not like change of any kind. They even gave him a job...to remember to water (or at least remind me to do so). An Eye for Nature took care of more than our plants and trees. I am grateful to have found them.

It is a couple that owns the business, the primary owner is a female, which I really liked. They really keep on top of their workers and are conscientious of that.

At first I seemed to really like them and they seemed to be conscientious and the last time they came they said they were trying to fit us in and they were doing part then and they would be out later to finish. Somehow or the other I don't know if that is what really happened. They were fine when they were here and the boss was here but when she wasn't I am not sure. I notified her and she said she had got it done and her people reported that it got done.

We own a commercial building in Virginia Beach. We hired Lori and her team 1 year ago to provide regular landscape maintenance. We were unhappy with the previous company, which was less responsive than we considered appropriate. We are long-distance landlords and Lori has been doing a terrific job for us. The property is kept clean and tidy, and the trees, shrubs, and lawn are well tended. Lori seems to take "pride in ownership" of our property and this gives us great peace of mind. We just signed our contract for another year with this company.

The work started out with a bang and Lori was very friendly. Even having our family over to their home to divide plants but then I couldn't reach her. Her weekly worker over charged me, once leaving without even doing any work because they said the back yard gate was locked and they didn't bother to knock to ask for the key

Lori is fantastic. This was no easy job to find the right shrub to fill in as a privacy screen. One landscaper had already failed. Lori never gave up and came through with the perfect solution. The price was great and the service was excellent. I would recommend An Eye for Nature to anyone.

From start to finish the Bagleys provided exceptional service. They were very knowledgeable about all things lawn and garden. I was worried about letting someone prune my small trees in the front yard; however, after talking to them I felt much more comfortable. When the job was done, I knew for sure that I had picked the right company. Great job. Will definitely use them in the future.

Recently moved back to our house after it was a rental for 5 years- formerly gorgeous yard was a mess. Worked with Lori who along with her crew of great guys got the weedy mess under control and looking great. She returns calls quickly, understands what we were looking for in terms of budget and design and has been fabulous to work with- would highly recommend this company.

Great! Very responsive and easy to work with. The owner texted me some pictures when the initial cleanup work was done. This was a rental home that we were fixing up for a sale, and the whole house looked better once the yard was cleaned up! The owner has a good knowledge (from what I can tell) of plants. She was also wise about when she scheduled the weekly work too- always on Fridays because she knew that most house showings are on Saturdays. I found that to be very thoughtful and great customer service.

I only have one word ... FABULOUS. The yard was a total mess. I called on Tuesday and spoke with Lori who was very nice and knowledgeable. She came to the house on Wednesday evening to give me an estimate of how much the work would cost. We scheduled the work for Friday, but she said they would do it Saturday if it should rain. I came home from work on Thursday night, drove up in front of the house and the work was done! She had sent me two txt messages with pictures of the work. What a wonderful surprise, the yard looks fabulous, I couldnt be more pleased.

The renters over the last three years had not taken care of the yard other than mowing, and my prized flower bed (on which I had spent over $500 in planting about 10 years ago) was looking rather sad and dead. I told Lori (estimator) I needed the yard cleaned up, provided a little curb appeal, and also that I had some river rocks at another address I was hoping could be carried to the rental property and used. She gave me an estimate of $180 for the cleanup, plus another $40 for the rock pickup and transfer. She scheduled me so quickly it shocked me! Two days later, their crew was picking up rocks about 8:00 a.m., went to the rental property to work, and about noonish, Lori called and left me a message to go look at it. I went there about dusk and was shocked – my yard was breathtakingly gorgeous! All the broken tree limbs were gone, my treasured flower-bed was ‘tucked into a border of river rocks’ and covered with a warm ‘quilt’ of thick mulch. The yard had been edged, weed-whacked, two other vegetation beds had been mulched, and they had used bricks dug up from their efforts under the hose faucet to divert moisture away from my house. Needless to say – I would highly recommend Steve and Lori’s “An Eye for Nature Landscaping” for any job. I really was shocked at how reasonable the price was for the amount of work they did. I would have spent all weekend doing the work they accomplished in a few hours. I was thrilled! My current renter was tickled (and sad she wasn’t staying to enjoy it!).
