Great as always - Ron has kept my machines in tip top shape for years. The cost of maintenance is always more effective than replacing machines every other year. Ron always does only what is necessary & also "coaches" you on how to get maximum performance from your machine - while also taking care of if to ensure it stays with you for years.

My husband took our old Toro in for repair and after describing the work he'd already done, was advised the remaining repair would cost as much as replacement mower. He came home with a refurbished Craftsman mower for a great price that runs smoothly, starts on the first pull, and we're very happy with our purchase.

It was not close to my house, but definitely worth the drive. (The shops near my house either didn't return calls or said I could drop off the mower and they would look at it in 3 weeks.) Although they can not always do the work immediately, they could tell from my description that it would likely be a quick fix and were able to do the work on the spot. It is the first time that a repair shop has listened to me describe what was wrong and not ignored my opinion of the problem. They let me watch the work and answered my questions clearly. Despite an obvious problem and fix, they fully diagnosed the machine and were able to identify some other things I may chose to fix in the future. I was able to see them interact with another customer where they advised her that she might want to replace rather than repair her mower and were as kind and respectful to her as they were to me. It is a smaller shop, so expect to leave a message and have your call returned if their hands are full.

My old push mower had become very hard to start.  Other than that it worked perfectly, so I didn't want to replace it.  I searched Angie's List and found this business that is fairly close to my house.   I took the mower there myself although they offer pick up and delivery service.  Ron, I believe the owner, looked it over and said he'd need some more time to find out what was wrong and would call me with an estimate.  This was important to me because if it cost too much to repair I was going to get a new one.  He found out the problem - something had gotten bent - and gave me an estimate of $147.  I picked my lawn mower up a few days latter and it was as if it were brand new.  I am very pleased with the service and the price.  Highly recommend.

A terrific experience! I decided to subscribe to Angie's List specifically because I needed my lawn mower repaired and -- although I've lived in Virginia Beach, VA for 26 years -- did not have personal knowledge of a reputable small engine repair shop with reasonable prices. I found Mr. Anitai's company through Angie's List, and was delighted to learn his shop is only 4 or 5 miles from my home. In addition to repairing the non-starting problem (which required rebuilding the carburetor), Mr. Anitai also:

• - repacked the self-propulsion gearing unit;
• - installed a fuel cutoff valve;
• - honed the blade to razor-sharpness;
• - provided education on proper mower height setting for extending mower service life and minimizing shock to the lawn;
• - provided education on proper carburetor priming and engine shutdown;
• - assisted with unloading the mower from, and reloading it into, my car.

I will definitely use Mr. Anitai's service for any small engine repairs that I need in the future, and will strongly encourage family and friends to do the same.

Extremely fast, professional courteous service. Ron was courteous and professional on the phone, when I dropped off my pressure washer and was able to make a quick repair. A pleasure to work with. Very military friendly. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to everybody.

Did an excellent job fixing to gas motors on my hedge trimmer. Offered not to make the repair unless it was economically feasible. Did an excellent job and was complete in about 7 days with the repair. Great service.

Ron is great! He fixed what needed to be fixed AND suggested several options towards other concerns. These options were clearly stated and easy to understand. The wheel option was to possibly disengage the self propelling mechanism and convert to a manual push mower. I was absolutely fine with that option. So basically, we agreed verbally to a nice tune up on the mower itself. Best part was once Ron called to tell me come get your machine. The wheel was fixed too! No charge :-) He explained that it was a simple fix and did not want any more than the agreed to price for tune up (filters, oil, spark plug, etc...) Another bonus for me personally - is the mower runs GREAT now. It runs, cuts and sounds like a machine again. Go see Ron - he will take care of you. Remember - a ounce of prevention is worth a pound cure/repair!
