AA & D PAINTING

It was a disaster before the job started. Jason, upon arrival to my house for my quote, was demeaning, disrespectful, and insulting. This is not a personal attack on him, but my statements are factual based on conversation with Jason (as my husband was present) and recorded by ring cameras (inside and out). *Jason, don't respond saying this is a personal attack...the fact is, you are an arrogant and disrespectful person, who tries to upsell his services, by making people feel that any previous projects done in their home by other people looks like trash! And then, you try to upsell your overpriced services...which you don't even follow up and confirm customer satisfaction. Here you go: He arrived to my house, told him what I wanted. Specifically told him I wanted the back deck pressure washed and stained. I also stated (as verified by my ring camera) that I wanted the back fence pressure washed ONLY AND PREFERRED NOT TO BE STAINED. The arguement began! I was scolded by Jason on why I DIDN'T need the fence pressure washed and questioned as to WHY DIDN'T I WANT IT STAINED (of course, that's more money in his pocket)! That just shocked me....a contractor is dictating what I SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE TO MY HOUSE... That was a sign why I should have walked away, but, since I've been waiting for this to be done for so long, I just grit my teeth and continued forward. My husband was shocked as well, and stated that he cannot believe that a contractor would talk to customers like he does, and m9dtvof all, I LET HIM TALK TO ME LIKE HE DID.....Like I ssid, being that I had been waiting for do long for this to get done, I let it go and pressed forward. Once I got the quote, we moved forward. I gave him 50% down, although he has posted on this site that he doesn't require a deposit ..? Well, I put $2000.00 down, personal check made out DIRECTLY TO JASON. HE ALSO TOLD ME TGST ON THIS JOB, HE ONLY MADE $300.00..... YEAH, SURE. All was moving forward..believing that Jason would be doing the job, as he stated to me (continously) that he's a 'PROFESSIONAL PAINTER' and that he will be doing the job...I saw him MAAAAYBE 2 HOURS (conservatively estimating). He sprayed my front porch trim and the rest was done by his helper, Santos. I would say the reason I never saw Jason was because I confronted him with what he did, did not do, and what insults he said at the beginning of this project. Let me explain: During the job, I noticed that my back fence had not been pressure washed, so I reviewed my quote, again, and noticed that this was not in the quote...I specifically told Jason that I wanted it pressure washed, but not stained, and since he felt it didnt need to be done, I suppose he left it off the quote. When I called him, he again argued with me, telling me how pointless it is, it will be the same color in 6 to 8 months, and I SHOULD NOT have it done. THEN I told him, I WANT IT DONE, YOU LEFT IT OFF THE QUOTE....HE then ACCUSED ME OF WANTING SOMETHING FOR FREE! That infuriated me, and I told him, I have it recorded on my ring camera and I want it done. Needless to say, I never saw him after that confrontation.....and he wouldn't even stop by to pick up final payment (told me to give it to his helper, Santos) NOR DID HE LOOK AT THE JOB AS IT'S FINAL COMPLETION. BUT, YEAH, HE'S A PROFESSIONAL PAINTER!!! LMAO. That's not all.....I was also belittled because I had other contractors do other jobs in my house and it was not to HIS liking...so, he told me how HE COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB AND HOW HE'S A PROFESSIONAL PAINTER....OVER N OVER, THIS CONTINUED. HE WAS TRYING TO CONVINCE HIMSELF MORE THAN CONVINCE ME...BECAUSE ALL I SAW WAS A SALESMAN, LOOKING FOR AN UPSELL IN SERVICES. I WILL NEVER CALL THIS GUY AGAIN. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY SERVICES. AND DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE. IF YOU DO CALL HIM, HAVE WITNESSES AND GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, EVERYTHING!!! HE TREATS HIS HELPER LIKE CRAP! MY NEIGHBOR HEARD HIM GO OFF OF SANTOS, VERY DEMEANING. I PAID $4025.00 FOR SERVICES. I HAD TO REQUEST A RECEIPT FOR SERVICES RENDERED AND THAT CONTRACT WAA PAID IN FULL. THE FINAL CHECK WAS PAYABLE TO AA&D PAINTING FOR $2025.00. NEVER AGAIN!!! FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME FOR FUTURE PAINTER REFERENCES!!!

Failed to show up for appointment and did not call. Tied customer up for four hours. Insulted customer. Did not complete the paid for and agreed upon work. Very unreliable.

Estimate was prompt and reasonable.  Work started on time each day.  They stripped the walls of outlet covers, etc., filled holes and smoothed any rough spots.  They used tarps to cover all furniture.  They were receptive to minor changes we proposed and executed them.  Painted a double coat on all walls.  We have an extremeamount of trim work to be done, and they painted that perfectly.  At the end of each day, and at the end of the job, they cleaned up the work space.  They were friendly and polite.  The company was referred to us.  We would recommend their work to others.

Jason and his crew were professional, on time (exactly, in fact), and diligent. They were in and out in 3.5 hours, and did a great job. Jason explained the entire process up front, and showed me how the work was performance (spray). They cleaned everything up, and put everything back in its original place. I'd hire AA&D again, and would recommend them.

Jason and his crew did a fantastic job. The previous owners had done a horrible job painting. There was wall paint on the cielings, discolored portions on every wall, and several peeling spots. AA&D repainted everything so that there were clean lines everywhere. They even performed minor repairs to the walls and baseboards, which made a big difference in the final outcome of the work. I am very happy with the look of the new paint job, it is crisp and professional.
