A 1 AFFORDABLE HEATING & COOLING

I was told for $125 they would clean the coils of the A/C unit and do an annual check of the system. Then I was told I needed 4lbs. of coolant for the system at $40/lb. (They told me they were cutting me a deal on the coolant because my A/C unit was purchased from them; I later check $40/lb is average to the high side.) Total $285. The service person was not even there 10 mins. Week later the A/C had problems and a part went bad. I called another service because A-1 said it would be 3 days before they could come out. Probably because they knew they weren't getting paid the second time because they guaranteed their work for the rest of the summer. The first call to them they were out the next day to charge me $285 for 10 minutes of work. I was later told by another service that A-1 didn't do what they said they were going to do. They charged me a $125 fee for cleaning; however, the coil was never cleaned as agreed upon. Stay clear of this company. They seem very unorganized in the way they run their business.

This job was horrible and very disturbing. I was not happy at all. They left live wires around that could have caused major damage to my home and family. They also patched things up when I called them back to fix the problems they had left. I felt much taken advantage of by their service.

A 1 Affordable Heating & Cooling ripped me off and I went for it. The unit I had didn't need the things done that I was told by them. They just lied to me over and over again. I went ahead and just kept the unit because I had it and it worked, but I did let them know I thought they were con artists. I will never use them again for anything.
