100% Tint Solar Solutions

This is a very unprofessional and unethical business. We took our car in to have the windows tinted and asked that they apply tint that was as dark as allowed by the law. This meant the result should've been 35%. The tint was completed in a timely manner, looked great and we received a receipt stating "35% window tint". Two weeks later I was pulled over and given a ticket. The police officer measured the tint and it registered 27%. We went to the tint shop to ask that they remove the tint and replace with the correct percentage. While speaking with the owner by phone (he was not at the business at the time), he was very defensive, told us that the police don't know how to measure window tint and kept telling us that he had applied what we asked for. We asked him if he had a meter in the shop? No. When we told him we had a receipt in his handwriting saying it was 35%, he claimed he was busy and would call us back that evening. Guess what? He didn't call. Now we will have to pay $80 to have the tint removed and another $140 to have the correct tint applied and THEN go to court and hope that I can have the ticket dismissed or I'll incur another expense! I would think that any company in the business of window tinting would have a meter on hand to ensure they were providing the requested product. Not only has this been a complete waste of time and money for the tint, but I have to take a day off work and fight a ticket that I never should've gotten. Do NOT trust this business with your vehicle!
