Calm, soothing environment. My massage therapist was able to detect areas where I needed more work and adjusted her pressure to my muscles' needs. Great massage.

Staff are awesome and very friendly. They always accommodate with my schedule.(I'm usually late for my appt !!!) Orlando is my usual masseuse

and he is very professional and just knows how to get those knots out of my back. He gets the job done. I like how they always do their assessment before and after the session.  I have been coming to Waterfalls for over a year and I won't go anywhere else now that they know what I like. Kudos to all of them. They always have  promotions monthly and I highly suggest to get the package deal.

I thought it was an excellent massage and I intend to repeat in the near future.  She ensured the pressure and techniques were satisfactory and asked a few times to maintain consistency.

I was looking for a new massage place and had received a coupon in the mail. I figured I'd try it out. The price was very reasonable. I looked at reviews prior to my appointment and they were mixed but I wanted to give it a try. Most said it was a no frills business but the massage was good. As discussed on other reviews it was difficult to find. Checking in went well and the person at the front desk was friendly. While I was waiting for my appointment there were a lot of people walking in and out of rooms. I assumed they worked there but since there is no dress code it was hard to tell. It really felt odd. I didn't meet my massage therapist prior to my appt or discuss with her face to face my needs. Actually, the only reason I even saw her was peaking when I had turned face up, just awkward. The carpet in the room was dirty and there were what appeared to be someone's old sandals for, I guess, a customer to use if needed. This didn't strike me as very clean. My massage was average. At the time of payment someone at the front of the business had me pay on their iphone via a square. This didn't seem to be very professional for an established business. Overall, I left feeling kinda creeped out.

"Hello [member name removed]! It's been over 14 months since your visit! Thank you for thinking of us after all this time. We appreciate the time you took to leave us this review. It is difficult for some people to find us in the garden complex. Although we have the largest lettering on the main directory sign and are listed on all seven complex directory signs throughout the complex, the white on brown lettering that is uniformed with all three complexes we share the parking lot with can be easily overlooked. Since this complex is primarily medical, all of the offices do look very much alike. I even get confused when someone tells me that their Dentist is our neighbor since there are four dental offices. The carpets were only months old when you came in and even though they are vacuumed twice a day and cleaned regularly, they do have a dark pattern. After less than two years in the location, we are already in the planning stages of redecorating. We will keep in mind your words regarding how you perceived the carpet. We do maintain a dress code. Although simple, everyone dresses in black, primarily athletic wear, due to the nature of their work. I don't believe there will be any change to this policy any time in the future. We don't have a front desk and due to the configuration of the space (to minimize noise in treatment rooms) we run credit cards in the back office, not out in the front waiting area. Robes and rubber slippers are available for clients. Rubber is more sanitary than cloth and more durable than disposable. Most clients recognize them. They will remain, but we do appreciate your opinion and will keep that in mind. I'm sorry that you felt so poorly on your way out. As this was your first time receiving a massage, perhaps you had an expectation that this was a Spa. As a Wellness center, we do not offer either Spa or Salon services or atmosphere. We offer quality bodywork. Your Therapist is still one of the most requested Therapists I have encountered in 20 years and I greatly appreciate her expertise and the high level of care she gives to every client. I am sorry you didn't feel that the massage was worth a revisit and hope that you find a spa that is better suited to your needs."

The primary owners are Sarah and Jesse.  They are very upbeat, provide a very welcoming atmosphere and have hired a great staff.  I always receive great personalized service and I have had massages by 5 or 6 different staff members.  Sarah gives a great foot reflexology massage and she explained how the various pressure points on my feet connect to various body parts.  Mandy is my favorite masseuse and we have great conversation while she gives me a great massage.  She knows how to work on my legs and feet, where I have neuropathy issues.  Thomas, Jesse, Alissa and every one are all terrific.  I love coming to Waterfalls Wellness Center, and rather than going to various places for massages, I bought massages for a year at Waterfalls Wellness Center.  I highly recommend Waterfalls Wellness Center in Vienna.

They are very friendly and they accommodate customers. The references that they give for other therapists are excellent as well. We probably used three or four of their therapists so far and we have been happy with all of them. Their staff is very competent as well.

He introduced himself. I asked how long he had been doing this and I asked where he had gone to massage school.( I had actually heard of it)

As he started I thought this was going to feel like my 7 and 9 year old grand daughters giving me a massage.
He actually did a good job and asked though out how the pressure was.

The room was dingy with low ceilings and miss matched furniture for tables. There was no running water and I did not see him wash his hands or use sanitizer before he started. I feel like maybe they use the same sheets for everyone.ugh! What ever they used for the massage smelled like Ben Gay.

I went to leave and at this time there was somebody at the front door. I did I want to give the therapist a tip and she said she would take it but I have no idea if he got it. She said he was already in another room. Probably without hand washing between clients

I have been to many spas and in home therapist's. I would not return here. Felt it was not professional or sanitary.

"I'm not sure why none of this was addressed with the manager that checked you out. I'm sorry you had difficulty finding the place. Being in a medical complex, we have specific guidelines that we have to follow regarding signage, I agree that something other than brown and white would be preferable. Not sure what we could be done about the "low" ceilings, they are standard height. This is a Wellness Center in a medical complex, not a spa in a shopping center. We don't have any additional height to the structure of the building that would allow for us to raise the ceiling tiles. Generally there is someone out front for check ins, I apologize that didn't happen when you came in. Since Therapists are matched with clients after the intake interview to ensure that you get the best possible service, I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed the massage. He is a wonderful Practitioner and much older than you would guess. I have learned a long time ago to not judge one on appearance, so maybe I forget that others don't always think the same way. As the person who auditions every Practitioner that works for me, I am extremely familiar with their skill sets and abilities. Again, I am glad you enjoyed your massage. I may have to book with him myself soon for a full session. :-) I have been in this industry for quite a while and very few places have running water in massage Treatment rooms. Esthetics rooms, sometimes, but it is common practice for Therapists to wash hands before entering a room. There is also hand sanitizer in all rooms and they use it when they are done with the massage, prior to leaving the room, still washing their hands once they are out. The sheets are not just clean, but new, we just bought an entire new set of sheets and face cradle less than a month ago, and retired the ones we had used for about 5 months. We do a massive amount of laundry daily. If you felt the sheets weren't clean, you could have asked the manager who checked you in to change them, they would have accommodated you right away. I can't imagine having staff at all if they didn't receive their tips. The staff appreciates that we collect their tips and feed back for them on check out. Most clients do not give honest feedback directly to the person who performs their massage, but will voice concerns to a manager. We set up a system to allow this to occur. All clients are asked on check out about how their services went. Massage Therapists work hard, very few professions require that a person exert that mush physical strain on one's entire body for 60-120 minutes straight. After a session, Therapists generally need time to decompress, eat, drink and get ready for their next service. By adding in other tasks, such as interviewing their clients a second time, checking them out, etc... they are not able to be properly refreshed for their next client, which may affect their performance. I understand that many places that offer massages operate differently. We have over time adopted ideas and procedures we like from other businesses (we have visited most places in the DC Metro area at one point or another or have a relationship with other owners and managers of like businesses) and dropped policies that we do not like. Our staff is very upbeat and caring, and go out of their way to provide the best possible service to every client that they meet with."

The Swedish massage I received was one of the best I've had.  The masseuse was excellent and I really have nothing other than compliments.  I will be returning in the near future.

"Thank you! We appreciate the kind words and would welcome you back any time you would like to book with Mandy or any of our Therapists!"
