Water Damage DMV

I sent my initial inquiry e-mail at 6:24AM, and Carlos wrote back at 6:52AM asking if he could come by that morning between 8 and 9AM. After having three other companies quote it, I selected Water Damage DMV based both on the cost of the estimate, his promptness and communication, and the clarity in answering questions I had. When Carlos arrived to do the work, he went right to it. He worked quickly and kept me informed about what he was finding and how it was going. When he was done with that, he put in humidifiers at first. The next day, he came with help to apply the mold-prevention treatment before adding fans to aid in drying. He checked in daily either in person or by text until it was time to remove them, at which point he came and did so. I was very happy to work with Carlos and Water Damage DMV. While I hope to never need their services again, if I happen to be that unlucky, I know who I will be calling.

I highly recommend Water Damage DMV. We had two rooms in the basement damaged from heavy rainfall. We called 2 other "5 star" companies and this one was the only one to respond within 48 hours (not good when water is draining into your basement with mold growth). Very reasonable cost which was commented on by our insurance company (unfortunately we do not have coverage for flooding but good to know about the cost) unlike a few other companies they were dealing with. This company was extremely professional, provided excellent follow up services, flexible, responsive to our concerns, and rechecked for mold growth. They even came back a second time with the air blowers to re-dry one of the rooms after a second heavy rainfall. We were able to save the carpeting and padding in one of the rooms due to their immediate response thank goodness. No additional add on costs after the initial estimate and we were able to contract out drywall and paint repair with them at a very reasonable cost. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Ari was just an awesome individual, he knew exactly what needed to be done and was extremely helpful. He explained what needed to be done in my home and even provided me with some information about how to keep my valuable items looking brand new, just like before the incident. Once we were all settled the team arrived, all of them were very nice and fast - yet thorough. For anyone looking for services in water or smoke damage, these guys are the way to go, highly recommended.

Water Damage DMV was quick to respond and worked quickly. They were very professional and worked fast. I cant remember the exact total but it was more than I expected.

Water Damage DMV responded immediately and sent a team on the day that we discovered the damage. With their remediation and three days of fans/dehumidifiers were were able to save everything in the basement, apart from the baseboards. Their willingness and ability to move quickly was critical--as it must be in any remediation situation.

At a stressful time, our experience with the company was great. They were responsive, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. When water is pooling in your basement, you don't have a ton of time to shop around but we feel lucky to have used them. They were great on the phone, came over within the timeframe they said (and called in advance), brought the team and supplies to deal with anything they needed to and worked with us to understand what they intended to do, the general cost, and expectations. The guys covered our furniture, helped us move some of our belongings so they could do their work, and treated our things with care. They did the work (they were here for nearly 7 hours), cleaned up afterwards, and stuck to the original estimate. Overall, if ever needed (and hopefully its not), we would use them again. We will also be suggesting them to friends if god forbid someone needs it. Thanks for making the resolution of what was a stressful experience as painless as possible.

We needed someone to investigate a slow leak that rotted the subfloor under the tiles in our kitchen. Waterdamagedmv came out on a Saturday morning, not long after I called. They gave us a three hour window but called to give a more accurate estimate twice as the morning went on. They brought a moisture detection tool and showed me the readings in various places around the kitchen. The type of problem we had was a very slow leak, so we did not identify the source. From my understanding, the company usually takes jobs where a house has been flooded by a burst pipe or water heater and comes in and gets out all the water and dries out everything for you. Our case was different, so they didn't even charge an estimate fee.

It went very well. We are so glad we went with mold remediation experts. They knew to where to look for the damage and how to treat it. The other estimates were from regular contractors and hadn't planned on searching for the mold. We are very glad we went with them.

Their crew was prompt, arriving within a few hours of my first call. Their tech assessed the ceiling and provided me with an estimate. He explained that I would pay them the deductible on my homeowners insurance policy and they would bill my insurance for the difference. I was aqua

Water Damage DMV was excellent. They explained everything very well both in person and on the phone, they arrived on time, they worked with our budget, and went the extra mile to ensure that our water issue was fixed, even during the holiday season. Their drying equipment was excellent and completed the job within the proper amount of time. While I hope I never have to deal with water damage again, I would definitely hire Water Damage DMV if we ran into a future water damage issue.

Excellent all around! They are all very professional and prompt, they started and finished work on time as promised. Especially they listened carefully to all my requirements and concerns, and took care of them all. Even after I paid them in full, they still came back to help me out some small things which were outside the original jobs.

My experience was good. They were prompt. They work that they did was well. The best part was they were prompt. The worst was in terms of removing the baseboard, some of the sheetrock came off. It was a little bit expensive.

They helped me last week, their services was great! I absolutely recommend them!!!

They pumped the water out , dried the place for a few days with huge fans and dehumidifiers , then started the restoration of the walls, carpets and the ceiling. They were done in 6 days from the moment they arrived and started working . Even the insurance adjuster was impressed .
I hope I won't need Water Damage DMV again but if I have another flood they're the only ones I will call and recommend .

It went well. No complaints

Never thought I would come out of a disaster happy.... but I did. We had a pipe leaking behind our bathroom and noticed water coming out from under our tub. I was referred to Water Damage DMV by a friend and called them out, Ari came the same day. He explained to me how instead of removing the tub from the get-go he would open up drywall behind my tub, from my closet to be able to see where the water was coming in from. He had our walls tested for Lead and asbestos, which I was very glad they did.
The same day the test results came back negative they started the demolition process. They found the source of the leak along with allot of nasty mold. At that point they had to remove the tub and tiles to properly clean all of the mold. (I was kind of happy because my bathroom was in desperate need of Renovation.)
They did testing after the mold was cleaned and we were clear.
Then they started Re-building my bathroom. It looks beautiful. They installed new tiles, rain shower head, Mosaic tiles, new vanity, the works. Ari helped me design my new bathroom and their crew worked great.
The thing I appreciated the most was there cleanliness, Water Damage DMV always cleaned up after themselves and the whole crew was very professional.

I had a water main leak in my basement and I contacted Amir at Water Damage DMV to come and give me an estimate on drying the carpet and fixing the water damage. Using his moisture detecting toosl he found that the water had extended farther than we had thought and quickly came up with a plan of action. Amir was very professional and helpful in deciding what to do. His team was very quick and even after tearing down the dry wall and treating the mold that was inside the wall he wasn't here but a short time. They even provided us with a complimentary carpet cleaning after the carpet was fully dry. His cleanup was so complete that you wouldn't even know he was there. Thank you, Amir and team, for doing such a great job!  

The guys at Water Damage DMV were friendly and professional.  The entire process went very smooth, and we were extremely satisfied with the quality of their work.  Would definitely work with them in the future, and recommend to anyone needing this kind of service.
