Tomas was great to work with during our renovations project. They know what they are doing and gave us good advice on certain things throughout the process as well. We did full house remodeling interior and exterior. Our project included opening up the walls, redesigning main level and upper level bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Everything was included in the price: drawings - plans, inspections and building materials. We could choose our own materials such as tiles, cabinets, flooring. The project was completed on time and did not exceeded our budget.

We contracted with VHD to complete substantial renovations on our home. VHD promised to complete renovations in 12 weeks, it took 24. We paid the contracted amount in full upon completion, but VHD never paid their subcontractors. As soon as work was done, Tomas Zuokas, the owner, took off for Africa. The people who actually did the work never got paid. After we moved in, we had two separate water issues in the house. Because VHD installed the HVAC system improperly, the ducts began sweating cause water damage in the house. We had to have an outside contractor come to do the work. It cost me $1000 out of pocket. We also found that our upstairs shower was leaking into our dining room. It cost us $5000 to replace the entire shower. I have been trying to track down Mr. Zuokas to get our money, but he is in Africa now.

Tomas and his team did a great job fixing a job that was started and botched by a unlicensed contractor. He was very responsive every step of the way and made sure we were satisfied meir calling it done. We will use him for all projects in the future.

Tomas and his team at VHD are quality workers that get the job done. Tomas is a true professional and expert and client management and ensuring the client is always satisfied. Tomas works tirelessly to ensure the final outcome of the project exceeds all client expectations. We will continue to use VHD for future work and highly recommend his team to others.

We had a contract before the project was finished and Tomas worked with the buyers to finish the project with their choices. i did go to see the finished project and was amazed how great the kitchen design turned out . We had our Clarendon condo completely renovated. The work was exceptional and the project completed as agreed, on time and on budget. Everyone was talented at their job, responsive and careful. Tomas and his crew did nearly every project listed under the "specific" projects choices I had for this review so I couldn't limit it to one. The bathrooms were gutted and completely remodeled floors, fixtures, plumbing, lighting the works; the kitchen floor, counter, backsplash, sink & faucet, appliances and lighting were updated; every inch of flooring (wood, tile and carpet) was replaced; doors were replaced, pocket and barn doors added; steps were built making access to the large patio easy for the first time; the entire condo repainted floor to ceiling; the baseboards and door frames were updated. It turned out exactly as we pictured it and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

The electrician was very knowledgeable and very informative when I had questions... he did a lot of work in a short period of time.

Tomas and his crew did a beautiful renovation on our old and outdated bedroom. While we received some quotes that were substantially higher than what we expected, Tomas came in with a fair price and a shorter completion time. Tomas's crew went above and beyond to get the renovation done on time and with high quality work. I am very happy to now see our bedroom with higher ceilings, recessed lights and finishes that are seamless to the rest of our home. Virginia Home Design is top of my list for future remodeling work!

Tomas and his crew updated my 2 1/2 bath and replaced the carpet and pretty much painted the entire house to be put on the market. They were very professional and did a great job! I even got more than what was expected due to their updates. I would highly recommend them.
