Vienna Paint

I stopped by Vienna Paint on my lunch break. I have previously been a fan of Home Depot and Behr paint, however it seems that the Home Depot staff is less educated on paint than I would prefer. I was having trouble deciding on a color for the bedroom. I had purchased some paint from Home Depot, and after getting one wall done, I quickly realized it was awful. I spoke with a wonderful woman at Vienna Paint by the name of Lesley. I told her my problem, and that I was looking for a gray blue calm color, but the color I had put on was terrible and didn't look right. She immediately went to the color chips and picked out some that she recommended. In addition, she educated me about the importance of doing a color sample, and using a board with the color on it and moving it around the room. So with her guidance, I picked out three colors and bought samples. We painted them onto the color boards, and taped them up on the walls, and "lived with them" for a few days. We also moved them around the room to see how they looked in different lights, as she suggested as well. I was amazed to find out that the colors that I prefered in the store, I did not like on the wall, and that the color that Lesley loved looked wonderful! I never would've picked that out on my own. So I went back to the store and told her which one we liked, and bought 2 gallons and got started. Now that it's finished, and the room is put back together, I love the color. I could not have done this without Lesley's help. And everyone there at Vienna Paint was professional, and helpful in their advice. I have continued to go back to their shop and work with Lesley to pick out other colors, and ask questions.
