The tool stopped running a little over a year after I bought it, and I couldn't get it to start. I took it in, and got an estimate of 2 weeks or more for them to get to it. I've seen some reviews here complaining about punctuality, but for me, if someone tells me 2 weeks and then gets to it in 2 weeks, that was punctual. Maybe a tad slow (the reason for a 'B' in responsiveness), but punctual.
Anyway, they looked it over, found the carburetor diaphragm had a tear, and ordered a new one. They replaced it tried it out, and found that it wouldn't pull fuel into the primer bulb if they turned the tool over. I'm not sure what they replaced, but they called it a tank vent on the invoice.
So, all together, the repair took about a month. When I got the call telling me that they were going to have to order a tank vent, I was offered a loaner power head from the owner. This was much appreciated - my yard hadn't been trimmed or edged in over a month, and was looking shaggy.
I'd say that the folks at Vienna Lawnmower should keep doing what they're doing, and they'll have me as a customer as long as I live in the area. When I'm looking for something they're selling, they're going to be the first place I look. I probably won't give them a whole lot of business for repairs, because I grew up on a farm and have a bit of experience working on small engines. But I will come to them for parts, and whatever equipment I need to take care of a 1/4 acre lot. If my experience is the norm, I'd say you should too.
They are very punctual and when there is a rainy day they come the very next day to take care of what they missed the day prior. When you call them they do answer your questions.
