I approached TD Bank to refinance my mortgage, based on numerous experiences with them that underscored their consumer-friendly nature. They offered an extremely competitive rate and very low closing costs. More importantly, they're highly automated, so all paperwork except for the final closing itself was done electronically. The closing was arranged at the local TD bank branch, Brian Mun, a mortgage loan officer in the bank's Vienna office on Gallows Road was my primary contact. He has decades of experience and it showed. He was informative, responsive, clear, friendly, and a whole host of other positive adjectives.
