Greg Hessler & his crew (Greg2 & Nick) are The Real Deal: highly skilled professionals who treat you as if you were a part of their family and your belongings as if they were their own. We were astonished when Greg single-handedly packed up an entire room filled with antique figurines & chinaâ we called it the antique shopâ in less than 6 hours and the rest of the small items in less than 2. This is an interstate move to dismantle my MILâ s home so she can move up from Vienna, VA to live in Ohio with us. 80% of the contents of her home went to her other son in Alabamaâ within a week of my call to him, Greg had everything packed. Two days later, Greg2 & Nick had everting out of the house & on the truck, headed for Alabama. Less than 48 hours later, my BIL called to say it was an exceptional job and he was thrilled. Part 1 of our move was PHENOMENAL: exceptional skill & care with our belongings combined with consummate kindness and respect for my 90-year-old MIL, whoâ s watching her home of 42 years dismantled around her. There are not enough words in the English language to recommend Security Moving and Greg Henssler & his team as highly as they deserve! In a hugely emotional & overwhelming situation, there were our heroes. Hereâ s what makes them so phenomenal: my guess is that weâ re no different from all the rest of their clients. We were treated this way, not because weâ re specialâ we had this amazing experience because Greg & his Team are. We canâ t wait to see them again for Part 2, our move to Ohio, because theyâ ve become members of our family.

Greg Hessler, the owner, is a no nonsense kind of guy who delivers on his promises and packs and loads the customer efficiently and carefully, and in the time promised. His rates are not the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive, and the added bonus is that he can take your car in the back of the moving truck, which is a great convenience. I would highly recommend him and if we ever move again I would definitely use him. You won't be disappointed.

Have used a number of movers over the last 10 years and there always seemed to one problem or another. After getting a few other quotes for my move from Northern VA to Florida, the owner Greg personally came over and gave me an estimate. His pricing was better than the large companies.Then it came to the moving day. They showed up early, his whole team worked extremely hard and were very careful. Loaded the whole truck up in about 3 hours. Same story on the other end. Couldn't be happier. If you book him, you won't be disappointed. He is a honest professional, that personally makes sure he exceeds your expectations.

Greg is awesome. He was recommended by my sister- and has moved her and other friends. Very professional, communicative, runs on time, and gets it done. He is a work horse!! This is the second time he has moved me and my family, and I can t say enough good things. He packed my breakables, all arrived intact! He helped with unpacking and took away boxes. No damage or marks on walls (and my new home had flat paint!). He is very friendly, tidy and easy to work with. I have moved 10 times in 11 years, worked with several movers, he really is the best. Not ready to move again- but I would certainly hire him again if I was!

Greg and his team moved me from Vienna to Oakton and were absolutely amazing. They made sure all of the flooring in the new house was protected and wrapped the furniture to make sure there was no damage to it or the home. We had an excellent experience with our recent move from VA to the Tucson, AZ area. Gregg and his teams did a great job of prepping our homes for the pack out and delivery by protecting the floors, carpets and walls. They did an excellent job of packing, loading and delivering our goods. We would use them again!!

I cannot say enough about what a great experience I had with Security Movers. I had initially booked my move with a company called Supreme Movers. They did not show up on the day scheduled and I cancelled that company after they attempted to get an additional deposit to show up the next day. This put me in a position of having to find a mover on Friday night to move me over the weekend so that I could close on the selling of my house on Monday. I began searching Angies List and Home Advisor, and finally found Security Movers. Greg, the owner, contacted me immediately and said he could do the move with pickup on Sunday. Having no choice, I scheduled him after he sent me a fantastic estimate. Greg and his team of 3 other movers arrived precisely as scheduled at 8am on Sunday and quickly and efficiently went to work. I was impressed with their care in packing and wrapping fragile items and glass top furniture and their overall professionalism and willingness to do anything to make the experience go well. They were scheduled to arrive at the offload location in Alabama at 8am Thursday after the Sunday pickup. Greg called me on Wednesday night stating they were already in town and staying at a hotel and asked to start earlier the next morning, so we set the delivery time at 7am. I arrived at the house at 6:45 and they were already there getting set up. The delivery went just as smooth and professionally as the pickup, with them reassembling everything as required and carefully placing items exactly where we wanted them. If you are looking for an exceptional moving company, look NO further than Security Movers. It is a small independent company, but turned out to be the very best move I have ever had. Their professionalism and integrity are superb, and I will readily recommend Greg and his company to friends and anyone else needing their service. I didn't mention the price they charged, but it was unbelievable. The entire move cost $7,138 from Virginia to Alabama, and we had an extremely large load, well over 16,000lbs. Compare that with four other estimates I had which ranged from just over $10,000 to $14,000. If I could rate them on a 5 star level, they would be a 10 most certainly!!
