Once started all went well, but there were times when there were breaks like in waiting for the concrete after the forms were finished. The workers were nice and did a good job of putting in the sidewalks. The problem was that I didn't get what I expected, but the job was done very well and I like the finished project. What I thought was that the concrete was going to be a brown-tan but it ended up gray. I also expected the exposed aggregate to be more white and pebbly as in the pictures I originally showed them. For the price I am still happy that I did the project and over time I'm sure the concrete will age to a tanner color. The extra pebbles will remain a memory of mine. When neighbors come to see the sidewalks they have all been complimentary and surprised at the price. Of course, I don't tell them that it wasn't exactly what I planned but only show them the finished project which is very nice.

The one gripe I do have is that the person transporting the concrete to the sidewalk by wheel barrow must have had an extra barrow full left over which he dumped in the woods near the driveway in an area that we are landscaping; so now I have to deal with its removal.

Work on steps was done on time and on scheduled. It was only a minor item to be fixed and he is comming shortly to take care of it (the work could not be done during the winter months). The railing was subcontracted. Railing was not done on time. It took almost three weeks when it was supposed to be done in three days. I would not mind to use Joe Neto again, as long as he is the one performing the job. I will not use his subcontractor.

I am very satisfied with Neto Construction. Their stone walls are beautiful. Really well done. We had some water problems and he continued to come back until they found what the issue was. He was very thorough and very consciences.

We were very satisfied with him. I was very happy with the service. The owner came out and talked to us and he suggested a curve in the walkway that looks really nice. They were professional and courteous and they got the job done. We got a couple estimates and he was a little higher but I felt better about the quality of the work. I think it was worth it. The other estimates seemed like I would be paying less but getting poorer quality. It was more personal with Neto; the other companies made me feel like I was one among many. I also liked that it seemed like a smaller, local company.

It went very well. Joe and his team were very efficient and proficient.

I am renovating my parents' home, which my father build in 1964. Access to the back of the house is only on one side, which is a steep hill. The stairway and tiering on this side was overgrown and collapsing. I wanted to restore this side and add patios/structure that would enable a privacy fence to be built along the property line, while recapturing the character reflected in my father's original approach. After repeated disappointments from contractors on other jobs who took shortcuts and did not provide adequate supervision, I turned down a dozen proposals for this job and the accompanying fencing job because of price, my lack of confidence, or the bidder proposed a plan that used their signature specialty rather than what I wanted. After months, a neighborhood listserve recommended Neto Construction and after meeting with Joe Neto, I finally believed what I wanted done was possible. He worked with me to accomplish what I wanted within the budget I had, and I accepted his proposal. Joe and his team were on the job from start to finish, with an impressive work ethic and attentiveness to my comments. I was amazed how fast and efficiently they worked, never leaving a mess and always showing respect for my neighbors'. The final outcome exceeded my expectations. Mr. Neto did everything he said he would...and more! I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Neto Construction. I will use Neto Construction on all future jobs related to landscape construction and foundation work.

I spent about $13000 on the job. They also put in a walkway and patio. The driveway was concrete whereas the walkway and patio were brick and slate. They repaired and replaced a brick wall with a stone column. They did a great job. I liked everything about them. The guy gave me some great ideas. He was really responsive and friendly. The crew was polite and friendly. He stayed there and worked with his crew. He went above and beyond and did a really good job. I will use them again in the future.

Replaced 42' x 3' stoop across front of colonial home that had sunk over 25 year period. Removed slate walkway that had buckled and replaced it with exposed aggregate walk. Patched large section (~8'x12') that had a peeled away surface. Complete removal and laying forms the first day, poured the second day, completed exposed aggregate finishing a few hours on the third day. 6-man team, with owner completing finishing on 2nd day. Brought in Bobcat to remove concrete, as well as compressor to break up concrete. Price was near lowest quoted ($4600), from range of $4000 to $7800. We added extension of walkway for additonal $600 across front of house. Highy recommended to anyone in No Virginia area.

Our driveway was a complete mess after water problems underneath and poor construction when the house was built in 1982. Joe Neto and his workers showed up exactly on the day and time he said they would. The workers including Joe worked so hard and efficiently that they completed the entire job in 3 days. BUT, they did the most excellent job preparing the driveway with rebar, gravel, posts to be sure that when they did poor the concrete it would be on a solid foundation and last for years. The exposed aggregate concrete driveway is beautiful. They even made sure that no run off from the concrete would wash down our driveway into the drain pipe down into our neighbors yards. I can not say enough good things about Joe and his workers. AND, Joe and his son works the entire time with his crew.
