This company is great...... They sent a rep out and assessed the extent of the mold and explained what needed to be done. Very knowledgable and fair pricing...

It went alright, they weren't punctual though.

I called Disaster Response for a visual inspection of a bathroom and an estimate for remediation.  They were tasked with inspecting one problem area but took it upon themselves to expand the inspection in search of other issues.  This decision led to the discovery of mold in our garage.  Instead of simply completing the inspection and providing an estimate for repairs, they recommended steps to save money and ensure the issue was handled properly.  They provided so many helpful tips that I had to take out a pen and pad just to keep up! I was so impressed that they looked out for my best interest instead of just providing an estimate for repairs.  It was clear that their ultimate goal was to ensure that the situation was handled properly instead of making money.  It's rare to come across a company that looks out for their customers in that way.
I was also very impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism of the rep. I've worked with other mold inspection and remediation companies in the area and my experience with Disaster Response was the best by far.  When I do move forward with remediation, I will absolutely use this company.  I highly recommend them to others.  - Lisa G.

In the beginning, there were some discrepancies with respect to the project's timeframe, and it turned out to be a much larger undertaking.  Specifically, what we thought would be a two-week job actually took two months.  However, the company did a great job of keeping us apprised of the work's progress as well as completing the work as quickly and thoroughly as possible.  A foreman was on site every day to keep the crew on task as well.  Ultimately, they did a great job and completely removed the mold from the house.

He is the one that I had a very good experience with. He stopped the mold and he came really quickly and he did the test really quickly and I'm still using him quite honestly because I have to move in to this house and the decorator would do the job and I have to move out because of the mold, so the guy was awesome. I think it was $100 per test so I think I sent $200 and it was like 2 different tests and I have opted for more and he was really great. I needed it faster than normal, he got it to me faster than normal, he actually handles all of it, he was extremely nice, this guy was amazing. It was worth every penny, I would never complain about the money I spent on him.

The servicemen were courteous, knowledgeable and prompt.  I was selling my house and need to ensure the job was done quickly, efficiently, and effectively.  Disaster Response was able to get the job done quickly, alleviate my concerns, and clean up properly when finished.  I would use them again.

We discovered after we had moved from the area that our house that was being sold had mold in the basement.  Disaster Response was very professional and punctual in taking care of the problem.  The price seemed high to us, although it appeared to be in line with other companies.  They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for the amount they quoted us.  It was obviously money we didn't want to spend on a problem we didn't know we had, but they did a good job of fixing it for us.  I would use them again.

When we came home from vacation, we noticed a bad, musty smell as we entered our home. So, I also called my mother-in-law, who onced owned a heating and air conditioning company, and asked her about some mold that I noticed in our air vents. She said that it was an indication that there was a significant source of moisture somewhere in our home causing the mold in the vents; that we needed to find the source of the moisture.  Since my daughter has asthma and I am allergic to mold, I joined Angie's List and found this company. I called them in the morning 8/15 and told them the issue, they first recommended a waterproofing foundation company. But, when I told them about our health issues, they came out to inspect that same day. John LeVan was the company's representative, and he was very helpful, thorough, and professional. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone.

In order to qualify for re-financing, I had to take care of moldy drywall in my garage. I called Disaster Response (DR) on a Friday evening and John LeVan showed up Saturday morning, conducted and inspected my garage, and he emailed me a estimate that same day. A team from DR reported on Monday.....but discovered an extensive bee hive underneath the drywall and near the outside dryer vent. I had to schedule for an extermination to remove the bees, and DR contacted me regularly and assured me they would return as soon as the extermination was finished.....and that they did. The old drywall was removed and the mold was dealt with through a ventilation process that took a couple of days. The DR team returned and replaced the drywall and cleaned up the garage when the project was finished. Although DR made extra trips to my house, and (I'm sure) didn't plan to remove and clean up bee hives (and a good amount of honey)....I did not pay more than the figured quoted on the original estimate. I told DR I would understand if they had to charge more....but they didn't. I cannot recommend more highly or sincerely Disaster Response. It is very professional and decent company, and I hope I don't need their services again.....I won't hesitate if I need to.
